Good mexican food and average margaritas. Service was great. We had veggie Fajitas which were very good, as well as the chips and salsa. The house margarita was just ok.

It’s very commercial like a TGIF or a Ruby Tuesdays. I didn’t love it.
The salsa and chips aren’t great. The salsa could have easily come from a jar and didn’t taste fresh. Same goes for the chips – not fresh.
Best meats on the menu are the chicken and the carnitas per the server who was also a shitty server despite tipping her well.
When food came out they forgot something and still charged me after bringing it out late.
Food does come out fast.
Music is good through the speakers.
There’s gotta be better Mexican food out there but this isn’t it.

The restaurant looks inviting with its festive décor. The waitress seemed a bit irritated when we were ordering.it wasn’t like it was very busy.
The food was not that great. I was surprised they didn’t have shredded beef for any of their dishes, so I had ground beef tacos. They were soggy and fell apart as soon as I picked them up. The chimichangas would have been a better bet. They only have Spanish rice which is different than Mexican rice that I’m use to and I didn’t care for the beans at all. This is nothing like Mexican in Mexico or California where I grew up. The chips and queso were the best part of the meal. I won’t be eating here again.

I have been coming to Cantina Louise for a number of years and it is amazing how quickly people are served their meals once they order. They are delicious and fulfilling. Their Frojo Jo margaritas are amazing and when it is happy hour, it is an even better deal. The service by all service are amazing and everyone is at your service, including the manager if you need them by chance. What a wonderful place! Highly recommended!

We arrived around 7 PM on Sunday, 11 January. The service had been lacking before, but the food was amazing so we did not care. Last night we received the worst food we’ve ever had. And they were items that we had had before, but they were lacking flavor that they had in the past. Also, the portions have gone down considerably. I ordered the fiesta platter, which is one of the more expensive dinners that you can get there that’s not seafood. I received what looked like a 2 ounce portion of steak and a 2 ounce portion of chicken along with some burnt cheese and a stuffed chili that was also very much rubbery and overcooked. My wife ordered the Birria quesadilla and it had no flavor whatsoever. We have had Birria tacos and quesadillas from gas stations that were a higher quality than this. We moved to the area about six years ago. My wife is from this area originally when she was a kid. We have seen nothing but a decline in many restaurants, but especially this one.

Food was not that tasty. It was ok. Service was fine. We wouldn’t go back, just seemed like they haven’t given the place a good, thorough cleaning inside in a long while. Had that needs to be cleaned smell. Wall murals are eye catching, but place needs a good wipe down & mopping. Felt more like a California vibe, with the type of music playing, not what we were expecting.

Incredibly fast service, from the hostess, to the servers, to the bar & kitchen. Really chill environment, with indoor and outdoor spaces. Prices were very fair, and food was quite authentic. Certainly some of the best fare that the city has to offer in this category. The Sangria was great – both Red & White.
