I tried their smoked steak with potato fries and green beans as sides.
Initially served with peanuts and rolls with butter and fountain drink. Rolls were freshly baked, soft and tasty, loved it. Steak which i ordered was medium rare, juicy and tender as expected except couple of spots on edges were bit chewy, otherwise done excellently. Should definitely give it a try if it’s your first time here.

Had the lunch special today which was One absolutely amazing Catfish Po’boy. Top tier to be exact The catfish itself was fried to what could only be explained as perfect.
Crispy, well seasoned crust on the outside and tender, flaky fish on the inside!
The sandwich was loaded just right with crisp shredded lettuce, pickles and ripe tomatoes in a soft toasted bun and the sauce was creamy with just the right kick.
The onion tanglers were hot and crunchy just how I imagine a tangler should be.
The Portions were generous and flavors were pretty well what you would want from a classic Po’boy
If you’re a fan of catfish, Po’boys, BOTH, or just some really good southern comfort food I highly recommend Colton’s steakhouse & Grill in Rolla, Missouri!

Went to lunch today at Colton’s Steakhouse in Rolla and it was amazing. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with fries and it was scrumptiously delicious. The service was great and very timely . The atmosphere was very pleasant and enjoyable! The staff were great and the manager “Rocky” was on his A game !!! Thank You and we will be back!

This was our first time at Colton’s Steak House & Grill. My husband and I weren’t impressed with the food at all. We’re from Wisconsin where Texas Roadhouse is popular and it seemed like Colton’s was trying to mimic Texas Roadhouse. From the peanuts, rolls, and other menu items there were so many similarities. I however, prefer Texas Roadhouse’s food.
We went to dinner tonight, which is a Friday night. We were seated right away. We were supplied with a half bucket of shelled, salted, peanuts. Our waitress came over to our table right away to get our drink order and she brought them back right away. She asked if we would like an appetizer, we declined and said that we were ready to order. I asked our waitress if they could substitute the chicken with beef or pork on the chipotle chicken nachos, I am allergic to chicken. The waitress informed me that they could not.
My husband ordered the sirloin & ribs combo with loaded smashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. He said that the fully loaded mashed potatoes were good. The macaroni and cheese was baked, had just the right crisp on the cheese, and had good flavor. He said that the sirloin was very small and didn’t have any flavor. He said it didn’t have any seasoning at all, not even salt and pepper. He also said that the ribs, although they had good smoky flavor, had too much fat and gristle on them.
I ordered the cheese fries appetizer. There was a good portion of fries that had bacon, cheese, and chives on them. They were served with ranch dressing. The fries were really salty, but they were cooked perfectly, crunchy and soft. They didn’t put much bacon, cheese, and chives on the fries at all though. There should be more toppings on the fries. The menu stated that the cheese fries came with spicy ranch dressing. There was a ranch wasn’t spicy at all.
The food was okay but we probably wouldn’t eat there again. It may have been an off night for the kitchen crew, but we were not impressed.

I have been reviewing customer service and food lately, today was waitress was Teresa W. With the inclement weather only 2 waitress were on site today. With only 2 waitress you would of never known that with the service we recieved. Bartender/Waitress service was nothing short of excellent! Our meal was a prime rib French onion dip sandwich and we chose a Ceasar salad for a side. I actually never had one of these sandwiches but I definitely will be enjoying this again. The abundance of meat and the size of salad was more than enough. Neither myself or husband could finish our meals. So definitely head on out and ask for Teresa and indulge in the delicious dishes!

My husband and I had the worse experience at this Colton’s, food wise. The food arrived nearly an hour after ordering. I ordered a medium ribeye steak, baked sweet potato and salad. The salad came so late I forgot I had ordered it. My husband had a pork chop and sweet potato. The outside edge of pork chop was cooked the inside was raw and stringy. My medium steak was rare (see photo). Our Sweet Potatoes were hard and inedible. The rolls weren’t even done!
The manager did come and ‘take care of our bill’ and halfway apologized for our meal while handing us a check. for $3.90 for my tea! I have to admit it was the best part of the meal.
Our waitress was good and in no way was at fault!

Ordered to go and waited an hour and a half for it. Called twice because it was taking so long. They finally brought it out to me, it wasn’t under my name but “fast close” so, it had been ready for the last hour just sitting. Didn’t offer a discount, gave me cold food that had been sitting out and gave me rolls that look like someone had eaten half. 0/10

Savanna is an absolute joy and a great server/bartender. I travel a lot and it has gotten really hard to find exceptional service anymore. The ribeye was on point and of course love the roles!!!

Our server was Zachary. He was amazing. As it got busier he did not get frustrated, he communicated with us. He was super. Friendly, laughed with us and just absolutely made the experience worth it. Great customer service is hard to find but he has it. Hope to get him as a server again.
