Been a customer for while now, I order Carne Asada fries with no cheese a lot and I noticed on my plate they barely added beef, no guacamole just bunch of dried fries with mashed beans disappointed.. I will not be ordering here again

Not my favorite place to eat but mostly because their meat (like most meat) weirds me out. Too much fat and weird stuff but they do have really good chicken taquitos and huge yummy bean and cheese burritos. The service is fast so not really much time for mindless banter…maybe partially because of the language barrier.
If you dine in its clean and theres a self serve condiment bar with different sauces from hot to myfaceisonfire hot! They also have excellent churros!

The quality of food has declined so much over the years, that we only order 2 things – breakfast burritos or shrimp soft tacos.
Check your order and for your reciept before leaving the drive thru. About 2 months ago, I ordered shrimp soft tacos and the employee told me she heard “burrito”, so she put in for 3…. Not even close. Upgrade your drive thru if you cant comprehend orders properly. Then, she proceeded to talk trash about me to the cooks, including calling me a gringo, when I refused to take the order and she had to fix the price too… We’ll she got an earful when she opened that window back up, because I actually speak Spanish. The same employee always asks, “you want salsa?”, but only gives me green. I shouldn’t have to ask for red sauce every time.
While waiting for food, the employees are speaking Spanish about inappropriate topics and/or using cursed words. To the staff I say, grow up and take some pride in your work if you want to stay open. And don’t let the middle aged, black haired woman run the drive thru anymore.
PROS: Large portions, hot/tastes fresh, average pricing
CONS: Food quality, customer service/professionalism, bad entrance/exit set up, incorrect orders

This use to be THE place i would ask my husband yo stop at on the way home from work but its seems their quality is going down and the prices are going up the burritos are small compared to what they use to be and istead of them being 8 dollars they are almost 15 for something a lot smaller not worth it! I would have better understood if the burritos had got smaller but the price stayed the same …i am very dissapointed. I might have to try rancho grande market. I hear their burritos are good .

I have a love/hate relationship with Memo’s.
First the pros: Their food is EXCELLENT, which is why my family and I keep coming back here to eat for many, many years.
…. But there are unfortunately many cons of this restaurant!!!
Cons: They frequently/almost ALWAYS sneakily find ways of overcharging for their food!!! They charge MORE than what their menu price says REPEATEDLY, so you have to check your receipt every single time, to make sure you weren’t overcharged!!
Also, their atmosphere is in desperate need of updated decor, and a deep clean!! Everything in their restaurant looks outdated and dingy.
…. But overall the employees are friendly, and the food is good, so my family and I put up with the cons of eating here because we still enjoy the good food, even if it is massively overpriced.

This place has gone downhill. I ordered carne asada fries. Their new banner made them look amazing. What I got looked like baby food. So covered in guacamole that it’s all I can taste, and it’s not good guac. Just ruined. The quality of the meat seems lesser, too. Much more gristle in my food. This place used to be awesome, but has slowly devolved into a greasy, bland mess. Sorry Memo.

Carne Asada fries are FIRE. Same with anything else I’ve ever had there. Good sized portions. Just make sure you’re ready to order because they are very pushy and ALWAYS pay attention to the change they be giving back late at night lol. They like to “tip” themselves without mention sometimes.

The workers are all fairly nice and for what it’s worth the restraunt looks fairly well kept. I go here often with friends and family. As much as I like this place there are a few greivances I must share. For one, the burritos don’t seem as high bar as they used to or are supposed to be. Alot more greasier and sloppier than it used to be and the more insulting of differences is the horchata. If I’m paying extra for horchata rather than having just a soda, I’d like it to taste how it is supposed to but they have really dropped the ball on this and often the horchata tastes quite watered down.
This place is absolutely deserves the 4 stars though, excellent and speedy service, affordable prices for the food they serve and the taste is unmatched by most other small local Mexican restaurants and I highly recommend this place. Fingers crossed they do something about the horchata at least please and thank you!

The food has gone up 1.00. I remember specifically because I used to get a bean and cheese burrito for 5$ even. Now, it’s 6$. What’s even worse is the carne asada fries are usually huge and amazing definitely worth 11-12 dollars, I ordered some tonight and not only is it 13 dollars, the portion size was MARKABLY LESS than it has been for over 10 years since I’ve been coming. It’s about half the size they usually make, plus it’s not just mine, my husbands was also the same size. Not only is memos marking prices up, they are skimping on portions. Definetly not coming back. There’s a good place on casino closer to the freeway which is better with more salsa options.

Felt just like home. Well not my home, but definitely felt like someone’s home. With a grandma who gives me way more food than I could eat. Steak fries are what’s up.
