Great place to grab drinks and watch a game. We were there during the Super Bowl, so it was very busy and the service was pretty slow. The food was disappointing — our chicken was dry and overcooked, although the portions were big. The soup was very delicious.

Usually go Saturday afternoons when vacationers are gone. No waiting. Wife and I sit at the bar for beers (Wife Diet Cokes) and bar snacks. Bartender very attentive and friendly. Wings are very good. Waitress very good. Really nice stop.

Finally tried Charlies. So disappointed. We ordered the Bisque, it was like “butter soup” no seafood flavor. The wings we ordered, very disappointing, especially since they are known for their wings. We ordered the sauce on the side, thankfully, because it was unappealing. Without the sauce, the wings were flavorless but crispy. It would be nice to add a few more choices for wings sauces. Sorry, not a fan.
I will say, the cheesesteak was good.

OMG!!!! This place is a gem. Best Philly Cheesesteak I ever had and South Jersey and Philadelphia PA is well known for Philly Cheesesteaks. Also very good Yuengling on tap.
I also had their wings. I am from upstate NY, they were just ok to me but their Buffalo sauce was delicious!!!! I am definitely coming back to this place. Very friendly staff.

The chill atmosphere at Charlie’s is THE BEST! I love a good dive bar, but this place is a cut above your typical dive bar. The service is friendly and fast – and the food is always fresh and delicious! You can tell it’s a cool place by the history on the TouchTunes juke box. We come here often! The blackened chicken Caesar wrap (or salad) is AMAZING! Try the creamy she-crab soup!!! French onion soup – also amazing! The tuna is awesome too whether you try the black and blue or add it to any of the salads. The peanut butter cream pie for dessert is the perfect ending! Whether you sit at the bar or grab a table – you will LOVE this place!

This place never fails me! Not from the area and came back for a 4th time. Service was phenomenal. Food was amazing. Got mild wings and Mexican cheese fries. Prices are fair and worth the trip! Highly recommended.

Food and service was great. Wings were tasty with a nice crisp to them. The top gun sauce is very hot. The parking lot is extremely tight and cars were parked with only inches between them. Was very tough getting out. There are also no free refills on the sodas. We weren’t informed of this and only found out when the bill came out. Would of rated 4 stars but felt it was unprofessional not to mention there were no free refills or offer water at the beginning.

Stopped in while spending a long weekend at the shore. Local hot spot for sure as they still had a good crowd despite being off season. The wings are definitely a must as they were well seasoned and a nice size. I had the stuffed flounder while husband had the seafood combination. Everything was tasty and the portion sizes were good.

Had a great experience here. Get the wings- they’re wonderful. Note that they don’t have a “medium” flavor but the mild wings are as spicy as a normal medium. The filet mignon nachos were good— we wished the filet was chopped up so that it would have been easier to eat, and wished there was guac and/or beans on it, but happy there was real and fake cheese goo. Good variety on their beer/drink menu, and a tons of tvs for games. Check out the back room which has a second bar!
