We visited this past Saturday night and sat at the bar. Unfortunately, the service was slow and inconsistent from the start. We waited about 10 minutes before finally having to wave the bartender down, and it took far too long to receive a simple martini and a beer.
For appetizers, we ordered the Philly eggrolls and the onion rings—both of which were underwhelming, honestly something I’ve had done better at chain restaurants like Chili’s. We then ordered a New York strip cooked medium-rare with an added lobster tail. The steak came out medium, and the lobster tail was shockingly small for the $25 upcharge. We also received a Caesar salad that was warm and wilted, clearly sitting in the window too long.
None of these issues were addressed because the bartender never once checked on us after the food was dropped off by the food runner. I couldn’t even get her attention to ask for a steak knife; I eventually had to get up and reach across the bar to grab one myself.
After spending over $200 on a very disappointing meal, we skipped dessert and coffee and instead went across the street to Rosebud Steakhouse, where we immediately enjoyed excellent service, great coffee, and delicious desserts. We had eaten at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse two nights earlier—an incredible experience—but we wanted to try something closer to home. We won’t make that mistake again.
If you’re looking for quality, go to Rosebud across the street or make the drive to Pappas Bros. It’s worth it.

Son and I had Christmas Day lunch. I called a few days before to confirm they would have their FULL menu available. I was told by a very nice young lady, they would. When we sat down, we were given a shortened, pre-curated menu. I was very disappointed as I wanted to try a few different dishes. I ordered the 22oz Bone-in Ribeye and my son ordered the Prime NY Strip. Both were lacking flavor and on the dry side. Very disappointing considering the price. Surprisingly, the best tasting dish was the Creamed Spinach. Service was just mediocre, as they were extremely busy and totally over-booked.

Shame on me for accepting a reservation for the patio section on Valentine’s Day. I called and was reassured that this section was nice and would be great for a nice valentines dinner. Fast forward to “the night”.. it started out bad when we were told they were more than 30 min behind on their reservations. Which is comical because they were quick to tell you that they have a strict 5 min window once notified that your table is ready, before losing your reservation..
we get to our table, which is literally patio furniture.. guess this one is on me because I shouldn’t expect anything more in the patio section. But the waitress came over and you would think they would know how to lead the dining experience with telling of specials (valentines specials), to include drink specials, etc..that wasn’t done. We had to ask after our initial drink order if they had any specials. Then we had to prompt the waitress on every single thing that she should be asking us about.. would we like an appetizer, etc..it became clear that we were driving this boat..
we ordered the deviled eggs and each a salad, the eggs were ok, nothing spectacular. The salads were good. But when I asked for bread for the table, the waitress said “let me go see if we still have any”.. that was the last we heard about the bread.. it never came. We ordered the ribeye to share and lobster Mac and cheese. The steak was decent, but nothing special and for sure not for the price.
Halfway through the meal I got a refill on my drink, with no ice. So, I asked for a glass of ice.. that too never came.
Instead I was given a plastic cup for my refill, with the waitress stating they “ran out of glasses”.. keep in mind they were still seating new guests.. so not sure how this is even possible.
In the end, I feel we would have been better off with better food and better service going to Texas Roadhouse. It was really a disappointment.

We had an amazing first time experience at Del Frisco Grille in Southlake. The food, service and atmosphere were surprisingly some of the best we have had in a while. Courtney, our waitress, Assistant Mgr Trace and Manager Mike were very cordial and ensured that everything exceeded our expectations. We will come back!

The vibe and atmosphere here is a big strong suit! Comfortable booths, upstairs seating that has a nice view and great service! Their French Onion soup was solid, the shrimp cocktail is tied for my favorite ever because of the freshness and the Chipotle cocktail sauce! The ONLY thing I wish was better were the Entrees. Twice I’ve had a great experience then a sort of bland Entree and I just have to be honest, thats why I have 4 stars for food because overall I give it a 7.9 but I want to love this place even more and thats why I plan on going back to try some more stuff! The vibe, luxury and service alone make it worth the while. They had different desserts both times I went but they are usually pretty good!

I spent over $100 and tipped very well.
this is my first time ordering to go, but i have eaten at this location many times and can tell you this is not the size the $14 cheesecake usually is, nor is it how the cheesecake is portrayed online. my salad came soggy because they did not put the dressing on the side, as requested. the manager, Heather, did not work with me at all on this, and is not holding up the name of the del frisco brand. this is not my first inconvenience with this manager over the last year.
i will not be ordering to go from here ever again & will likely refrain from dining here in general after this.

EVERYTHING was PHENOMENAL! Our wait staff was attentive and on point! We never waited too long for anything! The food was DELICIOUS and the cocktails were amazing! Came here for a Birthday Brunch and enjoyed every minute! Will definitely be back again!

Our favorite spot for date night or a night out with friends is Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse! We always start with the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, they’re an absolute must!
Joseph and Lexi are our favorite servers, and they always make the experience even better. The bartenders are amazing and keep the atmosphere fun and entertaining. Jamie, the GM, truly goes the extra mile to make you feel appreciated and ensure the night is special.
