My wife and I travel around the country living in vacation rentals. While in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, we came across this Diner. It’s more like a New York type Diner than any place we’ve been in our travels. My wife have the French onion soup, and I had fish and chips. The French onion soup was very good according to my wife, and the Fish and Chips were okay. I asked for the french fries to be well done, and they were barely done. The fish however what’s good.
The environment was what you would expect from a diner, so no surprises there. The service was very good, we were seated immediately, ain’t that plenty of time to review the menu. The prices were pretty good as well.

Came here for breakfast for the first time last weekend. Biggest portions I have ever been served in my life. I could only eat half my omelette and pancake, then I ate the other half for dinner . So a less than $20 meal fed me all day! The pancakes are literally bigger than your head.

I have been going here for years. Always big portions and friendly service. As of lately side orders are much smaller. Fries, grits, home fries etc. Prices hiked. Guess it’s just a sign of the times. By the way, French onion soup is amazing.

Delicious food, huge portions – always found something to take home. Overall, the establishment is 5 stars. I’m taking off one star for the situation I found myself. I’m a foreigner and in order to buy beer, I gave a foreign driver’s license. The waitress who served us returned it saying that the system did not recognize it and did not sell me beer. It would seem like a small thing. But it was unpleasant. She did not bother to help me in this situation and simply refused, which (as I am sure) is illegal in the United States.

Great place to stop if you’re up in the Poconos. Classical extensive diner menu. We went for lunch and there was no difficulty getting seating. Service was great. The Tex-Mex burger was on special that day (see picture) and it was excellent, although impossible to eat, neatly with two hands. The french fries were crisp and exemplary. Not fine dining, but an excellent casual place for a bite.

This is a real gem in the Poconos/Delaware Gap National Park area. The food we had at breakfast was superb served hot and exactly as ordered. Excellent presentation was outdone only by it tasting as good as it looked. Our waitress was Rae, she was super nice and very accommodating. If your in the area you need to stop here as this culinary delight has much more to offer.

The place I would have to say was the BEST place we ate at while we were in town on vacation. And thank god we got dessert (carrot cake) I should have bought the entire cake to bring back with us to Ohio! Staff very kind and friendly! There is a bar “attached” but it is separated from the dining experience and did not affect the experience in any way.

We have been to this diner for the past 3 days. The food is amazing and the prices are great! The best items include their chocolate chip pancakes, and their egg sandwiches. Today I had their biscuits and gravy and it was 10/10. Also, if you like a strong coffee in the morning, you should go there. We definitely will go back when we come to the area.
