Their burgers taste like you made it on the grill in your backyard, their chicken strips are made of real chicken, nothing processed, the lettuce was crisp and fresh. As far as burgers go, this was the best I’ve had. Think Burger King’s grilled flavor minus the grease. Grease tastes great, too, but this was really spectacular food and what a great price!!

Went thru drive thru around 12pm on monday 12/29/2026, and the man working was very friendly. Chick-fil-A level service. I pulled around, waited five minutes and I got my food. Never have I been to a fast food restaurant, let alone drive thru, that has my food steaming when I eat it. It was so fresh, great grill taste on the burger, fresh fries and curds, you can tell the oil is fresh. Outstanding job. I know it’s just fast food but I was so impressed. I only payed ≈$9.50

Don’t be afraid to jump in the drive thru when the line is long! Most of the time it looks bad but they move quickly and the food is fresh. Kinda like how Chik fil A’s drive thrus be. It’s long but you’re not waiting long. Most of the time lol

Cook Out is one of the best restaurants in town. The one on South Rutherford Blvd has excellent staff who provide outstanding service and quality food. I’m just afraid they will expand the milkshake menu and make the choice of flavor even harder.

I have been to three cookout locations in Middle Tennessee, and this is by far my favorite one. My girlfriend and I grabbed lunch here. We found parking easily, the staff was very friendly and courteous, the restaurant was clean, and we had no problems with the food. I would definitely visit this location again.

We love Cookout. It’s a fast casual burger joint with fresh made to order food. It has great prices. It’s not gourmet, just good quality simple food. You can add unlimited mix-ins to your shake which is probably my kids’ favorite part. If you have never been start by getting a tray.

I went around 1 in the morning on September 27th, and had a rather large order for my friends. Multiple trays, as well as a few extra sides and shakes. The guy taking my order was nice, fast, and accurate, as well as the second man who helped bag the order and prepare drinks. Everything came out incredibly fast, and everything was correct on the order. Always a good experience at this cookout!!

I come here quite often, and the food is always on point. Only complaint i have is that everytime the young kid wearing the Baja hoodie takes my order, it’s a nightmare. First time i *slowly* said the first half of my order, and then after it was 2 minutes of pure silence. He then had me repeat the ENTIRE thing again. Which, whatever. Then i repeated it. Another minute of silence. Asked if i needed anything else, so i said the other half of the order. Completely messed up everything i just said so i had to repeat it yet again. This whole ordeal took about 5-6 minutes and during the time where he wasn’t speaking to me, i kept hearing laughter over the speaker. Mind you it was DEAD. There was only another car in the drive thru. Came back another time, same kid took my order, same exact thing happened. It’s really frustrating because a lot of the time i come here, the customer service is awesome. I don’t know if he’s new or what, but maybe just get him off the speaker.
