Los Reyes De La Torta also serves delicious breakfast/desayunos – Huevos Rancheros, Omelet Del Rey, and breakfast burritos. Vegetarian-friendly menu items are also available. We are on the north side of Southern Avenue, in the Southern Palms Shopping Center, just west of McClintock Drive.

Overall great recommendation for a restaurant. 7$ for a horchata is insane tho. Prices could be lower but definitely worth coming here every now and then. The service is amazing and staff is great. Only downside is price but even then it’s not THAT bad everything is great. Would recommend 100%. Definitely get “Del Rey”

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I wanted to give this location a try. Many years ago, I had gone to their North Phoenix location and thought it was good. I am a good cook and rarely go to Mexican restaurants since we’ve got Mexican food at home. However, I didn’t feel like cooking that night.
I am SO HAPPY that I made that decision. As I pulled up to the handicapped parking spots with my mother, who is in a wheelchair, I immediately noticed it was right up front with an appropriate ramp.
We entered the restaurant, and all I can say is that the vibes were immaculate. We had such a lovely experience. It’s been a while since I’ve received this level of service in a restaurant in the US. The staff greeted us immediately and led us to a table. They pulled out a chair to accommodate my mother’s wheelchair. The menus were clean, well designed, and had items listed with descriptions in English and Spanish. There were plenty of large bright pictures with actual pictures of the food. The server was a very kind man who personally introduced himself to us. He answered questions about the good and gave suggestions. The other servers immediately brought us chips and salsa. They took our drink orders, and in just a few minutes, we had our beverages and were happily eating the delicious chips and salsa while looking over the menu. I ordered La Princesa Torta with steak, my husband ordered a quesadilla with chicken tinga, and my ordered fish tacos. Everything was DELICIOUS and carefully plated with care. The servers came by and chatted with my mom for a bit. They were so kind and engaged with us ensuring we were enjoying the food. I am really looking forward to going back.

The food was pretty good, and the service was solid throughout our visit. We were there to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and it was a nice experience the staff even clapped, which added a thoughtful touch.
Prices were average, and while nothing particularly stood out, everything was generally enjoyable. I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend it or return, but it’s a decent spot overall.
That said, my sister absolutely loves this place, so I’m bumping it up to four stars.

Absolutely delicious!! I’m Latino, but never had a torta before. I had the Nortena torta on two different occasions and both times it was amazing!!! Will be returning and telling others to try it out. Big portions, so come ready to eat and share.

Excellent! Everything had such good flavors. For my first visit I went with one of the simplest yet if not prepared correctly will disappoint every time, ASADA TACOS (you know street tacos). So plain the true flavors must be just right, and Los Reyes DE LA Torta did a fantastic job. I did swap out the side salad for a side of beans.
When seated you will receive the traditional basket of chips and salsa (good flavors and on the hot side of mild).
All meals are served with a small bowl of a creamy hot sauce (not too crazy hot). My sever suggested the green sauce for my tacos…EXCELLENT choice it was amazing and brought out even more flavor.
They serve no alcohol, but have your favorite just as a non-alcoholic version. I suggest the fresh fruit drinks served in traditional Margarita glasses.

The food there was really good. It came out quickly. The portions were good sized, had plenty left over. That fresh lemonade was fantastic but honestly kinda pricy. Dunno if I’d order it again knowing it’s $6.50

We came in on Sunday February 15 2026 to celebrate my dads birthday that is the next day (16) I asked the server if they could sing to my dad and she said no. Never have I had a place say no the birthday desert or song because that’s not the exact birthday. This was very disappointing. I will not go consider this place in the future to celebrate anything.

First found this place in 2016… made my way back recently and yo I just can’t tell you that I’ve ever had a better torta in the valley. And the service is always great plenty of free parking and plenty of seating on the inside.
