I visited for the first tome today ordering take out and the host and bartender were pretty good but I gotta say, the food was subpar. I ordered a cobb salad and well the picture speaks for itself. Missing key ingredients. I also ordered fish and chips and my only gripe is that it was overseasoned, 1st impressions!!

Food 4/5 we had appetizers. The tuna and the side salad that came with it was extra good.
Cynthia was an amazing server, all staff were friendly and prompt.
Was a first time visit, hopefully will go back and have more to share. We went around 4 and it wasn’t so busy, nice comfortable pace. Seemed to pick up significantly around 5:30.
The patio was clean, shaded and had a good amount of tables. Seems like a good spot for dogs(though remember if you’re ever taking your dog out you need to be aware of how much space your dog likes and check the temperature don’t burn their paws). Lots of tables outside but not a ton of room in between.

Our recent dinner at Hickory was truly exceptional, thanks in large part to the outstanding service from our waiter, Jordan. From the moment we were seated, Jordan made us feel welcome with his warm personality, in-depth menu knowledge, and perfect timing throughout the meal.
We started with the ahi tuna appetizer, which was beautifully presented and incredibly fresh—lightly seared and bursting with flavor. For our mains, we ordered the Reuben and the shrimp. The Reuben was a standout: crispy, savory, and generously filled, while the shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a subtle smoky finish that highlighted the kitchen’s skill.
The drinks were equally impressive—balanced, creative, and expertly crafted. Jordan offered great recommendations based on our tastes, and each cocktail was a hit. Our brownie dessert was the perfect ending, indulgent without being overwhelming, and clearly made with care.
What truly made the evening memorable was Jordan’s attentive but never intrusive service. He checked in at just the right times and made excellent suggestions that enhanced our entire experience. Hickory combines fantastic food, a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, and top-tier service. We’ll absolutely be returning—and next time, we’ll definitely be requesting Jordan again. They also have lots of TVs for entertainment.

We had a fantastic dinner at Hickory Tavern tonight. Hope was very professional and helped us with questions that we had about some of the items on the menu. She knew the menu well and helped us select items that were pleasing to all of us. She was also friendly and gave us great service during our meal. This was a great experience and we will definitely come back to this location. And we will definitely request Hope as our server next time. The food was also great and was very fresh and prepared as requested.

The wings were fantastic! Our server Maria was great and very attentive. I only gave the food 4 stars because we tried the shrimp flat bread pizza and It did not taste very good – a stark contrast to the stellar wings. Will definitely recommend those!

The wings are big and delicious. They are very proud of their wings, $19.99 for a dozen plus $5 for all flats. With tip over $30 for a dozen wings. I hear the secret is to go on a Wednesday, the wings are half off! Service was good, bar tenders are friendly. Would have been 5-stars if the ranch wasn’t so thin and it was a better value.

This weekend I had the pleasure of visiting this location and I must say we were completely blown away by this restaurant! From the moment we were in proximity to the door the amazing service started with Christian opening the door for us and trying to help my mom find something she dropped. We got in and were sat very quickly. Our server Jordan was AMAZING!!!! The food was on point and even Randy, the manager, checked on us even thought everything was great! As I looked around all I saw were smiling employees and customers! We had a fantastic experience while dining there!!! A must go if you have never been!

This was our first time. We had a great experience. We were greeted right away. Hope was our server and talked us through favorites/signature menu items. She was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The crab soup was fantastic. We also had the Freedom burger which was very filling—I couldn’t even eat it all. I loved that the restaurant donates $1 to veterans. Overall, great experience; we’ll be back!
