What in the heck is going on at this location?!
I spent over 12 minutes in the drive through, the food was, as can be seen in the photos and videos, absolutely atrocious and not edible. You have one job to cook up food that’s already premade or frozen. It’s not that hard. Fire everyone and do an absolute refresh with staff, administration and venue.

Why is my cheeseburger look like that, cheese not melted, pickles look day old and bread was literally stale?

I was taking a video of how my mozzarella stick were cold inside but why did all that liquid pour out when the cheese inside is rock solid cold?

I could have played sword fight with that pretzel dog with how hard it was and probably won.

Yo Katheryn is the greatest sonic employee I’ve ever met, she made sure my food was being prepared while I was at the order box so by the time I reached the windows it would be near completion. Not only is she efficient she is very sweet and friendly! She noticed a box of diapers in my car and asked if I had a baby and we had a quick little moment to connect as she tendered my order and served me fresh food with a smile! She’s also very fashionable which is a nice thing to see associates being able to express themselves as she had some fabulous nails! Sonic you have yourself a real Grade A employee DONT LOSE HER!!!!!

Hands down one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered a Route 44 Strawberry Slush and it tasted disgusting — like the strawberries were old, mushy, and borderline rotten. Completely undrinkable.

The drive-thru was just as bad. I sat in line forever, finally got to the window, and the woman working there flat-out ignored me and walked away. No greeting, no acknowledgment, nothing. I sat there for another 15 minutes before anyone even bothered to ask if I had placed an order. By then, the service was beyond unacceptable.

On top of that, this location doesn’t even accept Apple Pay or tap-to-pay in 2025. Combine that with the rotten-tasting drink, the endless wait, and the rude, careless staff, and you’ve got a place that has no business serving customers.

This Sonic is a complete embarrassment to the brand. Either replace the entire staff and management or shut it down — it’s that bad.

This place is disgusting joke. I ordered five items and all four out of five items were wrong. Then I go back to the car and realize they still didn’t give me one of the drinks so another thing that was wrong. And I asked for the garlic butter bacon cheeseburger without sauteed onions and this is what I returned with and the manager said it was correct. I spent most of the time standing in the kitchen waiting for them to fix food and they still didn’t do it right. And the sad part is they’re making it right now and it’s still cold. So unless you have an addiction for Sonic’s I would not ever go back to this place. Not to mention the disgusting interior of the kitchen. And they have no bathroom for you to use after they make you wait 30 minutes for food that they a mess up. I just wanted to leave and say screw it and they refuse to give me a refund because I had already accepted the food. Who knew that all the food was wrong. I hope the owner realizes he has absolutely no type of management and is destroying another Sonic. Now I don’t wonder why they’re disappearing. Instead of giving us a diet soda for a diabetic as we requested they gave us a regular soda, also requested no mayonnaise on one cheeseburger because of an allergy but you know that it was covered in mayonnaise. They’re lucky this is the only thing I’m doing is writing a bad comment cuz they probably should get sued. As I said disgusting and disgusted.

I come in every Tuesday and Thursday. They typically only have 1 person working but they are HUSTLING and always friendly — they’re deserving of grace especially working with a public that isn’t understanding. I personally cannot imagine working by myself (or even with minimal help) during lunch/dinner rushes.
I have always received excellent food/drinks, delivered with a smile. My favorite Sonic location.

To the Sonic employees here: I see you, and I appreciate you 🙂

I ordered a strawberry limeade and an ocean water about 15 min ago and they both taste absolutely terrible. It seems they may be having an issue with the water at this location. I could smell it before tasting both drinks. It literally smells like fish tank water and tastes exactly the same. Unbelievably gross.

Absolutely 100% the worst experience at a sonic in 4 states! Spent close to $40 on food that was inedible. Coney foot long was completely burnt on the side they smashed into the bun. Onion rings were so greasy the batter didn’t even stay on them, so it was a bag of onion rings no breading with clumps of breading scattered in. Hamburgers were so thrown together that the buns were soggy and wouldn’t even hold the burger, so had to throw them away and eat the patties no bread. Just horrible experience.

Kathryn needs to work on her attitude. I parked at a stall for a mobile pickup. Screen says it was being brought out, except it never came out. I waited 15 more minutes then pressed the red button . I am not angry at this point and happy to wait just want an update. I had only ordered two drinks. 10 more minutes go by and no one answers the button. I pull up to the drive thru window and she opens it up and says what do you want very aggressively. I just said I’m parked at the stall and it said it was coming out. She interrupts me to say well we only got two people so that’s that. I’ll go get it. I’m sorry but 35 minutes for two drinks is crazy and an apology would have been well received rather than the verbal onslaught I got. Chill Kathryn it’s just food and no one’s out to get you.

I could give a negative star review, I would. This Sonic on Semoran Boulevard in Orlando should just go ahead and close its doors.

Every single time I’ve stopped here, I’ve left disappointed—and that’s saying something, because I only go when I’m absolutely starving and have no other options nearby. It’s never a choice, it’s a last resort.

On my most recent visit, I waited several minutes at the drive-thru intercom before anyone even acknowledged me. After placing my order, I pulled forward and waited again for someone to come to the window and take my payment. Once I paid, I sat there for another 10–15 minutes with no one ahead of me and no one behind me. When my food finally arrived, it was cold and looked like it had been sitting out for hours. Not just disappointing—unacceptable.

While I waited, I had plenty of time to observe the area. A man was mopping the concrete near the outdoor tables, dripping dirty water directly onto the seats and tabletops as he moved around. It was unsanitary and just plain gross.

The building itself is rundown, but I might overlook that if the food or service made up for it. Unfortunately, the staff have zero personality and even less customer service. No greeting, no smile, no “how are you”—just a robotic transaction. It’s clear that no one here is trained or motivated to care.

This location is in dire need of a complete overhaul—from staff attitude to cleanliness to food quality. As it stands, it’s unappealing, unsanitary, and frankly, a waste of time and money. Sonic corporate should take a hard look at this place. Until then, I’ll keep driving past—unless I’m absolutely desperate.

I have given this place more chances than it deserves, and I am officially tapping out. I love Sonic. I’m from the Midwest and back home there’s a Sonic in every town like it’s a law of nature. This location, however, needs to be put out of its misery.

Every visit somehow gets worse, which honestly feels impressive at this point. Half the menu is always “unavailable,” the service is slow and unfriendly, and half the stalls look like they just… wandered off. The whole place is run-down, and the fries are so bad they should be studied by science. Completely inedible.

I tried to find a single positive thing to say, and I’ve got nothing. This Sonic has broken my Midwestern heart.
