This was our first time dining at Salt, and we had such an incredible experience — largely thanks to our waiter, Brandon. From the moment we walked in, he was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Since it was both of our first visits, he took the time to walk us through the menu, offer thoughtful recommendations, and make sure we were enjoying every moment.

You can truly tell he cares about the experience he provides. It’s been years since I’ve had service this exceptional. Salt is so lucky to have someone like Brandon on their team.

I can’t wait to come back, and I sincerely hope we get him again. Thank you, Brandon, for making our night so special — best service I’ve had in years. Keep shining!

This place is soooo good!
The vibes are awesome.
The food is probably the best in Indiana.
Our server, Hannah, made our anniversary dinner 10 times better!
She recommended us the food we’d really like and was considerate of our requirements of no alcohol to be used in the food.
We ordered: the crab cakes as sides. They were very filling and tasteful.
The Parmesan crusted Chillean sea bass with lobster risotto and the pan seared scallops also with the lobster risotto. Mind blowing food!!
And for dessert we got the 6-layer chocolate cake and boyyyy it was a chocolate heaven❤️
Will definitely come back for celebrating all our anniversaries and birthdays here.
Again, special shoutout to Hannah for making our dinner special.

Had reservations for my birthday dinner at St. Elmo steak house last weekend but then my girl suggested we try a new restaurant on mass Ave so ended up at Salt. Ambience was nice, service was good and restaurant was clean. Server was talented and helped us choose a great winem Started with fried oysters and crab cakes. Crab cakes were decent as crab was fresh and fried oysters were just like fried batter. So tiny and crispy that it was hard to taste oyster in the bite.(i did ask if they would be tiny before ordering and was told no) Had Bone in Ribeye for mains. I was excited for it but all the excitement was sucked away when the best part of a bone in ribeye, the fat-cap was chewy and non edible, the best part of a ribeye had to be discarded The temperature of the whole steak was uneven. The steak looked fantastic, ohh so beautiful to look at, but was not at all worth it. We were timebound and had to be somewhere after dinner otherwise I would have asked for a replacement but did not have the time to sit 30 min more nor had the confidence that they could cook the next one perfect with proper rendering of the fat cap and an even cook on an entire bone in thick piece of ribeye. Tried getting a hang of manager over the phone next 2 days but was not successful. Dunno if I’ll visit the place again. I was really excited to try this new restaurant on my birthday was was such a let down

Talk about fresh! This was amazing! The surf and turf app was on point! The bread and bread fire! Talk about amazing service Brandon was friendly and knew the menu with excellent recommendations! The old fashioned perfect not to heavy on the bitters! The steak was cooked to perfection! The lobster tail was juicy tender and full of flavor one of the best lobster tails I have had in a long time and it was a large size! The cheesecake omg talk about the best just wonderful flavor! If you want fresh seafood this is the spot to be.

My husband Brett and I dined here a few days ago. Everything was amazing! The food could have been a 0 out of 10, but still would give this restaurant a 10 because of our server. Hannah (spelled the same backwards) was the best part of the whole experience. My husband and I own a couple of restaurants and we know how hard it is to find great help. Hannah is 100% a keeper! For the record, the food was also a 10. We will be back.

We were splurging for a date night. Brandon recommended we add poke to the seafood appetizer, which was perfect. We took our time enjoying appetizer, entree, dessert, and drinks. Scallops and Sable fish were both delicious with choice of side and sauce. Brandon was ready with recommendations. We were not in a hurry, and he appropriately checked in. We did not feel rushed, and the food was worth the expense. The only downside was the noise. It was difficult to have a conversation with a wide table and loud music. Definitely plan ahead for parking and reservations so you can enjoy a relaxing meal.

We came tonight to celebrate our anniversary and we come here every year from out of town because the food, service and ambiance are amazing! We were so lucky to have Brielle as our server. She gave amazing recommendations and even comped us nonalcoholic champagne to celebrate! The food is out of this world and so fresh and flavorful. There’s no place like Salt on Mass. This place is truly amazing and we left very happy and in a food coma!
