This seafood spot in Virginia Beach may be a bit of a drive from the oceanfront, but it’s absolutely worth it. The portions are generous, and the fish was fried to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender inside. While I would’ve liked a touch more seasoning, they provided Old Bay at the table, which was a nice bonus. Service was solid, with an attentive waiter who made sure we had everything we needed. A great little gem off the beaten path and definitely worth a visit.

This was our choice for seafood and it didn’t disappoint. We got there at about 6pm and it was crowded already. Ten minutes and we got seated. Dawn was our server and she was great! We had the sweet chili salmon and the rockfish, both very good. Highly recommended as a very good place for seafood and to get away from the oceanfront craziness.

Great food, atmosphere, and service! I got the crispy Rockfish Tacos substituted with chicken and it was so good. The breading on the chicken was very crispy and added a nice texture to the tacos. Additionally, the black bean corn salsa and peppadew aioli really elevated the flavor and complemented the chicken added a unique flavor profile to the dish. Their sides are not to be slept on! The fries were so crispy and well seasoned and went so well with the tacos. I could eat their fries all day! The restaurant was also super pet friendly and accommodating for our furry friend. The host was very kind when telling us about the outdoor seating options and our server brought a big bowl of water to help our dog cool off on a hot day. Would recommend!

We really enjoyed our lunch here. Hubby got the seafood combo boil. It had a lot of food a fair price! I had the blackened key west tacos. They were delicious! Service was excellent as well.

Great service and food! There was no wait. My mom turned 70 so we wanted to try a new place. She got the seafood platter. She couldn’t even finish it. I got the steak and shrimp. Nice size sirloin. You can upgrade to a ribeye for $5. Amazing flavor. One of waiters made a cute happy Birthday note on a napkin and she got a free key lime pie. Very pleasant staff. Definitely plan to go back again.

The seafood is very fresh. Both the steamed ones and the fried ones. The fish with the sauce tastes good as well. We highly recommend them.
We ordered steak burger, chicken burger, and pasta kids meal. My kids finished them quickly and loved them.

This is a fun atmosphere, very pleasant staff and the food is great! We usually make it a point to dine here on our trips to VB. There are allot of interesting things to look at within the restaurant. We’ve always had a nice time eating, talking and enjoying their beer and drinks at Lucky’s. Highly recommend it!

We made a special trip. The oysters were dehydrated/dry, my guess is shucked much earlier , possibly the day before. Most of the oysters had a pea crabs in them, so no one had bothered to check or clean them. What oyster there was had already been chewed up by the crabs in them. When the name of your restaurant, highlights oysters, they should be exceptional.A terrible experience, very disappointing.

To start off the service of the place is great, however the food was not adequate to the standard I was anticipating with the prices set. The lobster mahi was $30 but the fish was dry due to being overcooked, the fish was salted after cooking so it was extra salty, the rice had burnt bits from being tossed on a pan for too long and the Cesar salad was drowned in dressing. Really disappointing experience as I was hopeful from the reviews.
