she handled everything seamlessly while still making our experience feel personal and special. our dining experience was exceptional, We will absolutely be coming back Thank you, Miriam, for providing five-star service!
The salsa was pretty tasty, which was very sad that I had nothing to eat it with considering they gave us cardboard for chips
I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp for an appetizer, which was pretty good nice full hearty shrimp
The restaurant was huge absolutely beautiful with outdoor settings next to that community park
Their drinks are a 10 out of 10, which again was very sad because I just really wanted a nice drink and chips and salsa
My server, Mr. Benjamin was an absolute delight . He helped me figure out which appetizer ticket and it was really funny the entire time he was serving me. I do want to thank management for having this type of an employee who makes it fun and welcoming for the guest to eat and spend time there.
I would absolutely encourage the restaurant to look into a different line of chips, but otherwise they’re on point with everything else
We were seated right away, and before we were completely seated, Jorge brought Chips. Salsa and water to our table.
He welcomed us and introduced himself as our waiter
Jorge was very attentive, professional, and knowledgeable without being in our faces.
We complemented and thank him for his services and also spoken with his manager, letting him know how awesome Jor
ge is.
The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous.
The restaurant is very busy, but our food was delivered without much waiting time.
It’s definitely a place to return to.
I tried to get sat by the hostess, and was straight up ignored for multiple minutes until I was acknowledged. I get being busy, but they didn’t even say, “we’ll be with you in a few”. It was odd. I asked for a table for 1 and would sit anywhere. She said there was a 45 min wait so I asked about sitting in the bar area. She said that is fine.
I found a table in the bar area. Beautiful location by the way. Absolutely perfect! Love the location, the decor, the vibe. All of that is spot on! I saw online a review for a shrimp dish I wanted to try but didn’t see it on the tiny menu they gave me. I asked them about it and they said it’s a reduced menu in the bar area, which I would’ve like to know before I decided to sit there. So that was unfortunate. I ordered a skinny margarita, which was decent. I saw the bartender make it and it was about 3/4 full with ice in it. Then she overflowed it with more ice to try to make it look more full.
They did serve me chips and salsa, which is always one of my favorite parts of going out to a Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately the salsa and the chips both didn’t taste homemade, rather store bought and not fresh. This was very disappointing.
I ordered the queso blanco and was excited to try the chorizo in it. She brought it to me and said that they were out of chorizo so they just put beef in it. I couldn’t believe that she wouldn’t ask before doing that bc I wouldn’t have ordered it. I wanted to try the chorizo. I thought that was odd as well.
I ordered the taco and enchilada combo. The taco was really good and the salad with it was so tasty. Unfortunately I could tell that this dish was sitting under the warmer for a while due to how the cheese looked. The enchilada was mediocre and not hot.
I ordered the Mambo taxi drink based on what my friend recommended. I did like this drink! Yum!
Sadly, I wasn’t checked on for the last 35 min of my time at the bar. I was trying to get one of the bartenders to look my way to request my check. It was really unbelievable for such a beautiful establishment that I experienced such poor service.
UPDATE: the owner responded below asking me to contact them via email, which I did. It’s now been 2 weeks that have gone by without a response.
The summer heat. Service could’ve been better initially, we sat unattended for about 10 minutes but the server made up for it after the fact. I ordered the lunch special fajitas (half chicken half steak) it was delicious but the steak was BUSSIN! It was so good, we ordered some to go for later. lol the guacamole was blah – no flavor. Love the house salsa they bring out with chips. Also wish the chips were less dense, they were pretty hard and thick. And my fajitas didn’t come out sizzling, but it was hot, which was weird. But I would def return. Highly recommend the steak fajitas and mambo taxi!
