The only thing that set this place apart was the 1820 brew. It had a magnificent head, great body, excellent flavor and a good strong yet smooth, bite. The service was great probably because I was sitting right in front of the register but the food sucks, as well as the crowded seating. I had my sights set on a Breaded Pork loin from the online menu, which was no longer available at the restaurant so I switched up to a Bourbon Burger which was good quality beef but not at all anything special or unique flavorwise and the Mac and Cheese was so bland, a box of Kraft would’ve been a better option. For the trouble with finding parking, the cost of the meal and the lack of seating, this was one of the worst taverns I’ve ever stepped foot in.

We stopped by Strawberry Alley in Clarksville, Tennessee yesterday and made it just in time for brunch. Their brunch specials were so hard to choose from because everything looked absolutely delicious. We ordered the mimosas in the large jar and they were very good and definitely hit the spot.
I got the chicken and waffles and they were buttery and cooked to perfection. The chicken tenders were amazing, crispy, and full of flavor. We also ordered the fish and chips with battered cod and potato tidbits, and everything was delicious.
They had an appetizer bar where you could serve yourself, which was a great touch. The chicken salad was amazing. The chocolate chip cookies and muffins were delicious, and the oatmeal raisin cookies were good as well. The pasta salad was great, and while I am not usually a fan of potato salad, I tried it and it was surprisingly really good.
It was easy to find, and the bathrooms were clean. The staff was amazing, and our waitress was so sweet and very helpful when it came to deciding which entrée to get. Parking is located behind the building and requires scanning for parking, but once you scan and fill it out online, it usually zeroes out. It is typically listed as $20 for four hours, but the process is simple, easy, and gives peace of mind.
Everything was very clean and well organized, and the atmosphere was really nice. This is definitely somewhere I would love to stop by again, and hopefully next time I will be able to come back and try dinner.

Lunch on a weekday with a large party and we were all happy with our visit. We were seated immediately and order taken quickly. I was disappointed that they didn’t have fish and chips so I ordered a bourbon burger instead and it was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful and restaurant was clean and well kept. Highly recommended!

Strawberry Alley Ale Works is a phenomenal location for local eats and in-house brews. Our server, Josh, was fantastic. He was very attentive and friendly. We really couldn’t have asked for better service.
The food is great. Everyone in our party of 5 seriously enjoyed all of the food we ordered. I don’t believe a morsel remained between us. Definitely no leftovers to be had, even through portions weren’t lacking.
If you like good food, good beer, and great service, make time for this gem.

I had ordered their Fish & Chips and it was amazing. Fish was fried just perfectly. The service was great. Fast and reliable at all times it felt like. If you go I would certainly ask for Brittany as your waiter. One of the best in my personal opinion with timing and making sure everything is good at the table.

I’ve really tried to give this place another chance because I truly enjoy the atmosphere, but every time we visit we end up disappointed, and I think it’s finally time to call it quits. The fries came out as old bits and scraps, the pizza was tiny and mostly just dough, and the lemonade was so sour that even my kid—who usually loves lemonade—couldn’t drink it.
I really want this to be a regular spot for our family since we love the upstairs vibe, but the food consistently falls short. The servers are kind and the atmosphere is great, but the kitchen needs serious improvement. I hate even having to write this, because the potential is there. Right now, though, what we got wasn’t worth even half of what it could be. Fix the food, and clean the bubble gum sticky bathroom floors and I’ll gladly be back.

Stopped by Strawberry Alley last night (me time) and had a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable — a nice balance that made it easy to relax and enjoy the night.
I ordered a pomegranate margarita, which was refreshing and well-balanced, along with the Southwest egg rolls that were crispy and full of flavor. I also had the steak frites and a Cobb salad. The salad was fresh and satisfying. The steak wasn’t seasoned quite to my personal taste, but the steak sauce absolutely made up for it, so it still ended up being enjoyable.
Service is where Strawberry Alley really shines — my waiter was genuinely the best waiter anyone could ask for. Attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed, which made the whole experience feel effortless.
Overall, great vibes, good food, and outstanding service. If you’re in Clarksville and looking for a well-rounded spot for drinks and dinner, Strawberry Alley is definitely worth checking out.

We went for Brunch on a Saturday mid-morning. It’s a really neat place that’s plenty spacious for larger groups. The service was excellent from the time we walked in to the time we walked out. My 7-yr old loved the complimentary “buffet” with cookies, fruits, etc. I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary and Shrimp n Grits. I’m from the deep south so I have a great appreciation for those two menu items and hold them to a high standard. I only gave 4 stars there but I’m sure they are both 5-star to most people. I only deducted a star because the bacon in the Bloody Mary was cold and chewy, inedible. And, if the managers are listening, the okra needs to be a spicy okra and the olive was not salty at all. The shrimp n grits were good, just lacked a little salt and instead of cheddar, the cheese should definitely be gouda and the green onions need to be sliced a little thinner. The atmosphere is amazing, especially when you have a 7-year-old and a 9-month-old, it’s wide open and just loud enough the kids can make a little noise and not be considered the rowdy kids at a restaurant. Everyone at our table of 6 enjoyed the visit though and we will definitely return.

Went here for dinner & drinks with a friend while in the area for a work trip and absolutely love this place. The hostess gave us the option to sit inside or outside, and we opted for sitting on the outdoor patio balcony. The vibe was chill and just what we were looking for. Our server Mya was super nice and friendly and gave great recommendations! Everything on the menu is made from scratch, and the quality and taste of their dishes reflects that.
We shared a few appetizers which were pretty filling by themselves. They offer beer flights to sample what they make locally. You can also get beer to take home in cans or a growler.
I would definitely come back here!
