Amazing experience! The pizza was excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly. The atmosphere has this charming small-town vibe that feels straight out of a movie — cozy, welcoming, and with live music at just the right volume (not too loud to talk over).
Fun story: we had stopped at a shop nearby beforehand and chatted with a guy who turned out to be the musician performing that night.
We were a group of 7 including 3 young kids and got seated right away — no wait at all. We ordered a few different pizzas to share and every single one was good.

On our stay in Weaverville, we ate at Blue Mountain Pizza several times. It quickly became our favorite spot! You can order pizza by the slice and the slices are huge! The stromboli is out of this world! We also had there spaghetti special for two on Thursday night and it was fabulous! You get salad, a garlic knot and we had the spaghetti with meatballs. There is also live entertainment in the evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. It was a fun atmosphere! All of the wait staff was very friendly and efficient. I almost forgot to mention that they make ice cream inhouse and the butter pecan was delightful!

Delightful place to eat good pizza and Italian. My plate pictured was after I polished it clean. It was very good wild mushroom ravioli. Monkey dark beer was yummy. Good live music from a local acoustic guitarist completed the night.

I have been coming here for the past 13 years when I’m in town to visit, always bringing guests and enjoying our massive pizza slices. I left this time very disappointed. The food was just ok, not amazing as I had remembered it. The service was great and we were luckily able to get a table before the dinner rush. If you’re in the Weaverville area this is a nice place to stop for pizza, but I won’t go out of my way to come here again.

We stopped in randomly to this spot today. I’m so glad we did. The staff and everyone dining inside was amazing. It just happened to be our daughter’s fourth birthday, and the staff gave her a gift which I thought was super sweet and we were very grateful. The food was excellent. This place definitely deserves ten out of ten.

We had a fabulous time at Blue Mountain on Friday night. When checking in the hostess advised us it would be a 30 min wait and gave us a few candy canes to celebrate the season. There was a heated waiting area on the porch and we enjoyed talking with and getting to know other folks. Right at 30 minutes, we were directed to our table, right next to the band playing swing music. Sound was the perfect level to hear while being able to enjoy conversation. Our server Lauren was the best. Always looking out for drink refills and checking in with us just enough. We didn’t want for anything. We shared a French Onion soup as a starter and enjoyed one of their gourmet pizzas. It was peppery and spicy, but not too hot. Would highly recommend this place food, service and atmosphere are great. We are new to the area and just found our new favorite pizza place!

My dining partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Blue Mountain Pizza. They had both outside and inside seating, but they were already busy and had no tables available. Fortunately, there were two remaining seats at the bar, so we took those. The bar stools had no backs, so they were not particularly comfortable, but it was better than standing and waiting. Service was excellent. We decided to split a medium pizza. The pizza crust was good. The sauce and cheese were very tasty. The pizza was properly baked, crust and cheese browned, but not burned. For dessert, we each had a cannoli. It was amazing. Sally at the deli in “When Harry Met Sally” amazing. The bartender, who was also our server, filled the cannoli tubes right at the bar. The tubes were crisp and fresh, the filling had chocolate chips and was really, really, good. She drizzled some Hershey’s syrup on top. I didn’t think I would like that compared to powdered sugar, but I actually thought it did enhance the cannoli.

Spent the day in Weaverville North Carolina.
Took our friend Karen for lunch she had never been there.
The restaurant was busy for lunch.
I especially like their slices of pizza because they’re large enough and you can fold them like we did when we lived in New York.
We sat next to a woman and her two children. They were visiting from Fort Lauderdale, FL.
She lived in Plantation and we lived in Tamarac which was one city over. We had a lot to chit chat about.
What good is going out to eat if you can’t talk to the people next to you.
The pizza was good the company was great the atmosphere was good the service was on point can’t ask for more than that.

Started off walking right past the hostess stand and proceeding to carry out station like a blind tourist… (sorry!, derp). Fortunately, everyone was patient, and I was promptly directed to where I was supposed to be and immediately seated.
They were busier than I’d anticipated for a weekday evening however, my server Sophie had my drink and app order in no time and before you knew it I was enjoying my cheese sticks and some of the most spectacular marinara I’ve ever had the opportunity to experience.
I will expand on my visit at a later date, but wanted to post a review asap as a place marker for further details.
TLDR Version: absolutely give it a try!

Great Italian joint with massive calzones, hearty pizzas, and a handful of pastas and sandwiches. We start off with the spinach artichoke dip (killer) and wrap it up with a basil pesto blackened chicken calzone and pizza. Love the live music and small town feel from the pizza joint. Beer is great and selection is good too. We’ll be back soon!
