I ordered a ribeye with a salad and asparagus. The sides were great. The ribeye was cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning and was a little tough. There was salt and pepper at the table so I corrected the seasoning issue. The bread that was served was delicious.
The ambience of the restaurant is nice, I sat by the fire place which was off during my visit but it was nice to see. The bar seating area is fairly large and looks appealing.
Service was great throughout. However, one concern is that upon checking in to be seated, I was asked for my phone number, which was odd since there was no wait. Not sure what the phone number is or will be used for.
Aside from the phone issue, a fairly decent experience noting the two detractors that I’ve already mentioned (tough steak, and needing to give away my phone number).

First time visit and it was spectacular. We were truly surprised by the quality of food. The dinner rolls with butter were unique. Some of the standout dishes were Tuscan chicken and sweet potato casserole. The egg rolls were amazing too and remind me of a Philly cheesesteak, so I’m a big fan! We just couldn’t get enough. We will be back!

Me and my family had a wonderful time! The server Victoria was awesome, probably one of if not the best around! She took great care of us, was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional time! We will definitely be back but next time maybe without the kids.

It was a nice steakhouse with fireplace giving a cozy vibe.
The server didn’t really check on us often and it was hard to find the person. Steak was over cooked, and few broccolis I ordered on the side was just raw.
If you are thinking that you will get ordinary chimichurri sauce, think again. It is like just blended sauce that tastes like grass.

The tuna stack and lobster bisque were great. The steak was slightly overcooked and lacked flavor. The service however, was AMAZING! Ryann C. listened to our dietary needs and didn’t hesitate to make recommendations with modifiers for us. She checked on us just enough and had a very pleasant attitude. She seemed like she truly loves what she does. I hope you guys take care of Ryann or somebody will poach her. Servers like her are hard to find.

Went here for my Birthday last week and had the most AMAZING time! Didn’t want to wait on a table so my husband and I sat at the bar. We met 2 Awesome couples and had great conversations! The Food was Delicious as well as the drinks! Can’t wait to return and when I do it will definitely be this location!

Stoney River has always been a mediocre steakhouse and tonight just justified that’s it’s even equivalent to an outback. Unless you like your steak rare or well done I recommend that you do not eat here. We ordered all three of our steaks medium—two filets and one ribeye. The ribeye The first time, the ribeye came out medium well and our filets dry and well done (see picture—burnt).Then the second time, they came out rare (bleeding—see picture). It took over 20 minutes and my husband was done with his meal. Taking my steak home to re-cook it on my own to eat and never coming back. Should have went to marcel’s or ruth chris, like we normally do…just wanted to stay inside the perimeter. FYI: We didn’t ask for compensation or anything free. Lesson learned.

Had high hopes for dinner after being seated promptly with a reservation. Unfortunately, service got off to a rocky start—our drinks arrived, then we were left hanging for about 20 minutes while other tables were greeted and served right away. We had to ask for a manager just to get our order in, which was disappointing for a place that advertises itself as an upscale steakhouse.

That’s where Lilly, the manager, made all the difference. She was the absolute highlight of the night: genuinely warm, attentive, and determined to make things right. Lilly didn’t just fix the issue—she approached us with kindness and professionalism, checked back in personally, and showed a real commitment to our experience. Her enthusiasm for great service and her skill at turning around our evening set a new standard for hospitality.

The food itself was excellent. The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a flavorful char, and the au gratin potatoes were everything you want—rich, cheesy, and bubbling hot. Fries were crisp and addictive, the wedge salad was fresh, and the warm rolls with whipped butter were a nice touch.

Bottom line: The kitchen delivers top-notch food, and Lilly went above and beyond to ensure we left as satisfied guests. Thanks to her, what could have been a forgettable experience became a reminder of how much great management matters. I’d return for the food and hope to see more consistent hospitality next time.

Awesome service, Awesome sized portion sizes and great ambiance.
My only food complaint was my steak was overcooked. The other food was excellent and the Crème brûlée was huge and delicious.

Drink choices were great, i had the spicy pineapple margarita and it was awesome.

The servers were very attentive and friendly and it was an excellent visit overal.

I was in metro Atlanta for meetings, andThere is a location near my home, that I’m going to take my wife out to based on my experience.

Was greeted immediately upon arrival. We wout celebrating a birthday.
Server Katherin was great. Order Whisky shrimp as an appetizer came out cold.
Entrees arrived in a timely matter. My husband ordered a rib eye with salad and lobster bisque soup. After tasting the soup we immediately sent it back. Taste wasn’t to his liken. In place of the lobster bisque soup we ordered a baked potato. Also ordered the seafood pasta which had more rotini pasta than seafood. We also ordered shrimp and grits the portion size was beyond laughable for the amount of money.
When the bil came noticed that i was charged $10.00 for the baked potato. Guess i assumed it came with the rib eye.
Spent nearly $300.00 for mediocre food
