upon arriving in this establishment my friend and i already came in with bad assumptions. after further review those assumptions became true. we ordered the shared platter for appetizers including queso, fried pickles, and cowboy caviar (which they didn’t have so they subbed the cheese bites for). the fried food is pretty much you see what you get. it’s fried flavorless food. then we waited and got our main entrees. i was expecting home made mac and cheese which is what they advertised and got this weird kraft mac and cheese velveeta mixture. my friends chicken tenders came out looking like they threw it against the wall and then deep fried it. no taste whatsoever. my brisket sandwhich was only saved by the bbq sauce. will i come back ? i’d come back if i was hammered and wanted some bar food. because that’s what this place is. i’m disappointed.

I came in with husband and 3 young kids and had the most wonderful experience! Our server, Krisela, was phenomenal. She was attentive, friendly, and quick. She knew what we needed before we did! The manager, Ethan, was also amazing. He made my family feel welcome and made sure our time spent in his restaurant was above and beyond a normal dining experience! I can’t wait to bring my family back!

Our servers name is Alicia and absolutely made our night. It was our fathers heavenly birthday so this night was very special for this reason. Alicia made sure our order was right, our drinks stayed filled and our food was what we wanted. She visited our table a few times just to make sure we doing ok. My chicken fried steak was a little sour, no fault of anybody. But Ethan (manager) brought me another order and was very understanding and apologetic. I explained that I was by no means bothered by it. Things happen. But he made it perfect for me. We were grateful for the staff (cooks included) that made our special night, just that, special. Thank you, Alicia and Ethan and staff.

Great service, been several years since we’ve been there, we started going back a few months back and have been there several times since the management is very friendly and very tentative. Great food at value prices here. Was able to swap black eyed peas for the French fries listed with my Brisket BBQ sandwich. They offer a $20 ribeye steak plate with 2 sides! ( 12 oz steak). This gives me every reason to return. Unfortunately this chain is localized to the Lubbock TX area..

We started with an order of fried pickles and for our entrees, we all a chicken fried steak with varying sides. The service was a little slow, but not bad. We all enjoyed our meals. The restaurant was clean and our server was polite. I recommend this location.

We ate here two days ago and I still feel sick from it. I sent it back and I never do that…I got the patty melt and fries. The fries were reheated which made that hard and were cold when they arrived. BUT the meat was the issue. I didn’t get a bun due to being gf. The manager was fabulous. He checked the label of cheese sauce to make sure I could eat the appetizer AND the brisket dip appetizer was very good. BUT the meat was swimming in grease with the mushrooms dripping on my patty melt. I pushed the topping aside to try to eat the meat and even dabbed 4! napkins to try to get the grease off. I ate three bits and my husband even stated that he couldn’t believe they served that. I sent it back and couldn’t eat after that. Never going back.
