Food is amazing, why did I wait so long to try it. I even bought the sauce. Our waitress Sandra was very good and very attentive. Prices were not expensive at all. Such a blessing. Forgot to take pictures before we started eating. Can’t wait to come back.

We absolutely love coming to David Alan Alan’s! The food is delicious, the service is great and the beer selection always has variety. We’ll get several appetizers to share and make a meal out of it, like in the picture…burnt ends, pork quesadilla and wings. Or we’ll get burgers, a pizza or meat platters. No matter what we always leave happy (and full). When the weather is nice, they have a seating area outside to enjoy.

This is place is awesome, with huge portions, and very reasonable prices. Came here for my birthday and was not disappointed! Jordan H. was a great server: knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly kind, especially with my birthday desert. Came here to try multiple smoked meats, but filled up on the fried green tomatoes and okra! Definitely start with these. Best of the sampler was the smoked corn beef: holy cow! Delicious! And if you love trying new sauces, there are 7 on the table to choose from, and I enjoyed trying them on the very meaty St. Lois style ribs. Don’t miss this place, but adise to come by 5pm. It fills up quickly!

I came inn from Illinois to get my truck undercoated. The guy that undercoated my truck recommend this place to me. I have to say he was right this was some of the best bbq I ever had and I been all over the south in and ate at some of best bbq places. This place had a great atmosphere and some great characters that met while eating at the bar have to say I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for some good bbq. I recommend a brisket sandwich and The poutine’s with the Kansas City barbecue sauce

Shout out to Brock for hooking me up with the DAA’s “secret menu” item, the Potato Skin Burrito! They had loaded potato skins on special last month, but I was able to order them yesterday. Brock mentioned he made them into a burrito, with beer cheese on the side. Didn’t have to ask me twice. I got one to go! It should be on the menu. That burrito, a side, and the cheese on the side. I like handheld burritos, not slathered in cheese and needing knife and fork. Maybe make different meats avaliable too. Outstanding!

Shared a 4 meat platter with my husband and we still had plenty to take home. The smoked and BBQ meats were delicious and we tried almost all of the sauces. Bacon Bourbon BBQ sauce was our favorite. Great drinks – Smoked Brandy Old Fashioned and an Apple Mule. Great food, great drinks, great portions, great price! We will be coming back!

I was tired, weary and needed to be renewed after a long 8 hour early morning work drive. I walked in and was impressed with the cleanliness, the options for seating, and the general vibe. I was greeted and seated with a smile, and with a plethora of menu choices for my meal and beverages including breakfast, lunch, beer, wine, cocktails, coffee and more. Everything looked tempting. I witnessed some nachos being delivered to another table and they were huge! My server was simply amazing, probably one of the most kind, enthusiastic, knowledgeable servers I ever encountered in a dining situation. Brooke was exceptional. I would return specifically to have her wait on me again. Her suggestions and help with the menu was flawless. I ended up having hot coffee and a breakfast pizza. The coffee was fresh, hot and refilled often. The entree was exceptional. I was half-way full through my meal. I ate it all because it was deliciously crafted and prepared. This restaurant is a yes.
A few additional thoughts:
The bathroom was spotless.
They had a community board to connect others.
They provide indoor/outdoor seating, and a bar area.
They have daily specials.
Note:
I did observe others working who were not quite as enthusiastic as Brooke, including one guy who saw me approach the host stand and didn’t even acknowledge me nor did I see him smile the entire time I was there I don’t know how my experience would have been had he been my server. This demonstrates the importance of exceptional service and the importance of building a relationship with your guest, even if they are passing through.

The DAA burrito is so stuffed with meat! It was delicious. We also tried the St. Louis style ribs. Also delicious. They have a variety of BBQ sauces at the table to try. We liked a mixture of Kansas city, bacon bourbon honey and korean BBQ sauces.
Unfortunately with the game on it was very loud. Our waitress Brooke was very good.If we ever come thru Mukwonago again we will definitely come again.
