This place is a must try for anyone coming from out of town! I eat here pretty regularly. Came here for breakfast with my partner today and we were not disappointed. Good portion sizes on everything. Country potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, eggs were cooked perfectly to our preference (over easy and sunny side up) corned beef hash was well seasoned. Steak was cooked perfectly and hashbrowns were nice and crispy. Overall the service was awesome! Our server was attentive and food came fast and hot. I will say if you come when it’s busy there will be a bit of a wait but the staff here always tries their best to make your experience an enjoyable one. Overall will be recommending to all of my friends and family. Anyone looking for a casual home style meal will enjoy it here. I will be returning to Dirtwater Springs in the near future!

I just finished eating Thanksgiving dinner here and it was aaaaamazing!!! I chose the turkey dinner which came with turkey, real mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, cranberry sauce, rolls, soup or salad (I chose the salad) and a choice of pie. I chose the pumpkin pie. Everything tasted like it was made by my mom in her own kitchen. It was all you can eat too. Imagine that! So I HAD to get another plate of deliciousness. Our server Heidi was awesome! She was so accommodating and on top of things. The staff clearing the dirty plates were also on top of it. The atmosphere was very rustic with a western theme. I also ordered a pumpkin pie martini. Yes, I said pumpkin pie martini and it was delicious!! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. 5 stars on everything!!

We had such a great experience at Dirtwater Springs Cafe. It may not look like much from the outside, but the food and service truly exceeded our expectations.
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed. You can tell they really care about their customers.
My husband ordered the hamburger and couldn’t stop talking about how flavorful and perfectly cooked it was — juicy without being greasy. And the margaritas were honestly the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced and so smooth.
We’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending this place to friends and family. So glad we found it!

We looked for somewhere to eat in Apache Junction, Arizona and Dirtwater Springs popped up with good reviews and it did not disappoint. The burger was perfect and Em enjoyed her chicken finger basket. The owners daughter was there she took care of our needs and helped with good information.

Ordered two orders of brisket after waiting for one hour for our order to be taken. We had multiple servers attending to us, one of the bar hands came back to explain there was no brisket. Changed order to sirloin, was thin and cold, asked to have it remade. They microwaved the whole plate. My cheesy Mac was greasy and the bread was extremely toasted, honestly unnecessary with the mac unless to sop up the grease. The ambiance in the back patio needs a definite touch up as well.

Worst food here! Don’t come here for the food!! The kids pizza is a dang tiny microwaveable Tony’s .YUCK Our burgers were burnt patties and the chicken tenders were hard as a rock. Gross. Even our soda tasted old..
The service was slow, but the waitress was nice.

Such a well rounded restaurant. The staff is personable and friendly, the food is always good, and they have a full bar. They also often have fun events going on which I always keep an eye out because there’s a variety of activities from karaoke, trivia, and even a painting event.
On top of all that the restaurant is clean and the aesthetics fit the environment and theme. There’s so much to look at and I notice something new every time. Highly recommend.

I have been coming here for 20 plus years and will NEVER step foot in this place ever again after what happened tonight. Took 20 minutes to get a table. I understand being busy so that wasn’t the issue. The issue was once we got sat down our waitress was ABSOLUTELY FREAKING HORRIBLE. Took our drink order then she disappeared like a ghost. We never got our drinks. She never stuck around our table long enough for us to even ask for an appetizer. Like I said we never got our drinks because she just walked around the dining room like she was freaking lost. We waited 15 to 20 minutes for our drinks and it was just 3 ice teas, not even drinks from the bar. So we got up and walked out to NEVER return. You lost us as people that look forward to eating here. There is ABSOLUTELY NO reason that just drinks should have taken this long. We are done with you.

No problem with food, however we werbooled as a group of 35. The waitress was one person for the entire group and did the best she could. The wait time to actually recieve our meals was approximately an hour.
You would think with the advance notice there would have been enough staff to cope with the number of patrons.

Seated right away, but waited over 40 minutes for food after ordering. Server started to bring the bill before we had our meals served to us. She apologized and told the kitchen was backed up on orders. But she had told 20 minutes earlier our food was the next one up. It appears they need better management.
