Visiting from out of town. Asked where to go. This restaurant was recommend. It’s a small Mom and Pop place. It was being run by young adults. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service from staff. A stranger came into the restaurant and stated that a man had fallen in the parking lot and needed assistance. Immediately, several of the staff went out to assist. Never heard any negativity from anyone. They were happy, chatting about school and plans for later. Restaurant was clean. Tea was sweet! The shrimp were great and plentiful. Sadly had to leave some on my plate! Easy to recommend!

Very good plate of trout and shrimp! Fish and shrimp were perfectly breaded and not over cooked, just right! Greenbeans taste like home. This restaurant is now one of our favorite go to places. Clean, excellent sanitation grade(99), courtesy & quick service.

One could not have asked for a better waiter. The food was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Use to eat here years ago prior to being gluten free. Went back and was excited to have gluten free shrimp from a dedicated fryer.

Great spot for quick service and good food. Haven’t been here in probably 10 years and I swear it’s better than I remember. Our server Bennett was probably the friendliest server we’ve ever encountered anywhere. Will recommend to anyone on their way down for a beach weekend.

We’re not from the area and we were looking for some great seafood. A few people suggested that we try “Something Fishy”. The food was delicious and they gave us plenty of food. I ordered the seafood platter and it was so much food that I couldn’t eat all of it. By the way, the sweet tea was very good too.

My beau recommended we try Something Fishy as he heard by a friend that it was good. We went early around 4:00 pm on a Tuesday because we wanted to miss the dinner crowd. We were promptly seated. Ordered our food and nibbled on some fresh hushpuppies! They were like little bites of sweet cornbread. The fried shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection! Our sides were all delish! I was so impressed by all the servers! These young men had exceptional manners. I heard them say yes sir or yes ma’am, very polite to all customers. All around a wonderful experience! Love the vibe. We will be back on our next trip to CB!

Stopped in for dinner after leaving the beach. I must say I was impressed. Not a lot of menu options simple and effective. Flounder was good it was fried nice and crispy. Hush puppies were soo delicious my two year old nephew literally ate the whole basket. Great reasonable prices and awesome attentive customer service.

Been thinking about going here for a while. Big fan of DDD and local spots and this is perfect, nothing pretentious, just a chill local spot with great food. On the way back from Carolina Beach we decided to stop. It’s mostly fried seafood but they did have a grilled mahi special and they do have steamed options. The chowder was very good. For my meal I got deviled crab, oysters, fried okra and slaw. Haven’t had fried okra in a while and it was great. Was going to get scallops but unfortunately they were out. They must be great because while I was there at least 7 people tried to order them. I was disappointed they were out but the oysters and crab were good. I will say that I only eat fried seafood every once in a while. This was light, not overly greasy and very tasty. My son got the sampler platter which was a ton of basically everything they have as well as 2 sides. For the amount of food you get it is a great deal. It’s good quality food for reasonable prices. The sweet tea was awesome as well. We had 6 people and everyone loved their food. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. Check them out. I will be back to try the scallops

I’m in town working and searched for a “fish camp” style restaurant, this was IT! I ordered the “sampler” and man, that was a lot of food!!! I couldn’t eat half of it, I’m hoping I can slowly reheat it tomorrow.
I’ve attached 3 pictures, one of the whole plate, the next is 2 of the 6 scallops (they were huge), the last is one of the many oysters. I didn’t even eat the fried or boiled shrimp.
I’d be here every week if I lived closer by.
Oh, I forgot, the best deviled crab I’ve ever had. I’m assuming that was homemade because it was awesome.
