My wife and I have dined here many times. We had a long week and looked forward to getting some take home tonight. I ordered the Julio’s Nachos. I received chips. There was no pico de gallo, the meat was flavorless, the only refried beans was a single spoonful dropped on one chip in the middle and they put cabbage from the stem that was already browning.

My wife added that her red enchiladas were bland and undercooked.

Service is consistently good and atmosphere is nice.

I usually come through for drinks and eats when I’m in town, but only stopped in to drink this time. I absolutely love the cucumber margarita at Julios. The jalapeño margaritas are tasty as well. I have not found any other spots where I live that make it as good as this place.

We got to try the buffet. We used to go many years ago. But for some reason, we stopped because back then I didn’t feel like a kids’ friendly menu. Now our kids are teenagers and we decided to give it another try. We got the breakfast buffet. I like that now you serve yourself back then they will serve you. I like that they have some options, not a lot but enough. And they have a make-your-own chilaquiles. Flavor is good and tasty unfortunately food was cold even the menudo. Our server was very nice and attentive. The place is clean. Also, kids 8+ pay adult price which I thought was a little pricey $18 per person. Decorations are pretty and the atmosphere was nice.

We enjoy the eating at Julio’s, and everything operates as it should. They have a fine staff of employees, who are eager to assist you in every way possible. The waitresses are very polite, providing undivided attention to serving you and make your visit memorable. Kudos to the waitresses for their excellent service $$.
The food preparation is an art within itself, very appealing to the eye, that you can just about taste it. I did not take pictures this time, we brought guest and I felt it was a little inappropriate.
Hopefully prices stay where they are at, (fair). Otherwise they will be leaning towards the pricey side of the spectrum. Thank you for your time and a good meal.

We attended a private party in the party room on a saturday at 10am. They had a dedicated server and cocktails available. Everyone served themselves at the buffet. They had both pancakes and french toast which were hard on top but soft if you searched. They had potato tacos, chorizo and potatoes, fruit, yogurt, rice pudding, and more.

Kayla was an amazing server! I went on Friday and she was super attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience great. The music was also really good and the vibe was on point. Definitely coming back.

This used to be our Friday go to. We loved the atmosphere and mariachis. Suddenly there was a management change and I will never go back. They got rid of the mariachis and the last Friday we were there, I saw the manager take the large party table and leave the wait staff with not much else. What a disgrace. The previous manager was busy making sure the guest were taken care of and not taking tables from the wait staff that need to make a living. Bring the old management back!

Coming in from out of town to my favorite restaurant was a disappointment. The buffet food was cold especially the menudo which can be dangerous and the service was lacking. I had to ask for a napkin twice. I had made a reservation and they didn’t have it. Drinks and refills were never offered so we were constantly waiting for them. I am sad that we probably won’t be returning and our friends who accompanied us from El Paso said they won’t be returning either.

Stopped here for dinner before checking into our hotel. Wheelchair friendly. Nice place. Our waiter (Joel) was great. The food was delicious. The Abuelita’s Chocolate Cake is fabulous.

My wife and I decided to try Julios for lunch today. Turned out to be an excellent decision on our part.

First impressions were quite positive. Restaurant interior was lovely and very clean. One thing that jumped out at us was that the tables had good size to them. A lot of times, as a two top, we get very small tables that barely fit the entre plates and make sharing an app difficult. Not the case at Julio’s as the two top had plenty of room.

Susanna served us, greeted us with a smile, and quickly took and delivered our drink order. When my wife told her this was our first visit, Susanna showed fantastic menu knowledge, told us about the food and made many excellent suggestions. This can be an overlooked skill and Susanna was superb. During the meal she was attentive, keeping my iced tea full, and she made sure all of our needs were met.

As for the food, the pre meal chips were fantastic and obviously made from scratch as opposed to some store bought bagged ones. Salsa was sweet with, depending on your spice tolerance, a nice little kick or “quite zippy”.

As for the meal, she had “Flautas Oaxaquenas” (she selected chicken) while I chose “Three Enchiladas (I went one beef, one chicken, and one cheese with red sauce). Enchiladas were served with refried beans and Spanish Rice. We finished by sharing the “Tres Leches Cake”.

Flautas were bite sized, crunchy and the guacamole was fresh and excellent. This was a tasty bite and an wonderful choice for my wife. I loved the Enchiladas as the filling to tortilla ratio was spot on. Beans were fresh and the chips made for a great dipping vessel. While not a big rice guy. I really enjoed theirs and dug the peas and carrots. The Tres Leches cake was so good. Really nice flavor in the cake and the whipped cream topping mixed so well with, as Susanna put it, “the (tres leches) sauce”

Final cost for the 2 of us was $41 (and some change). This was great value for the money as ingredients were all fresh, portions generous and food tasty. Would give 6 stars if I could and will definitely return.
