A Wonderful Visit for My Mother’s Birthday
I visited this past Sunday to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and it was a truly special experience. It had been three years since my last visit because of the long distance, but this trip was absolutely worth it.
The buffet stood out from others I’ve tried—it offered a wide and impressive variety of dishes, not just traditional Chinese food but also sushi, hibachi, and hotpot. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making it feel more like a food experience than just a meal.
We arrived around 5:45 PM for dinner, and it was quite crowded, which shows how popular the place is. Despite the crowd, the service was still good and the food stations were well-stocked.
What made this place even more enjoyable were the little extras—like fruit tea and boba tea—which were a nice treat, especially for someone like me who enjoys something sweet to finish a meal.
Overall, it was a happy and memorable visit. A perfect way to celebrate my mother’s birthday. I’ll definitely come back again in the future.

The selection for price feels incredible at first glance with lobster, blue crab and snow crabs on roster but the freshness could be a bit better. If the lobster wasn’t overcooked and slightly off tasting, I’d give this place a 5/5 and be here every weekend. But to even offer ginger scallion lobster at that price is insane. Blue crabs were meaty and fresh. Snow crabs in the garlic butter sauce were GREAT until they started to refill them with just lukewarm legs, which ofc happens when any buffet starts to get busier. Butter, like basically all Chinese buffets, isn’t real butter and tastes like some mass produced butter/oil mix. Again, if real butter, 5/5 but still not horrible or unfamiliar.

We usually go to the buffet in plant city but today they were closed and we decided to try this place. This buffet looks nice, the cashiers were pleasant but the food was horrible. Shrimp still had head on which makes the to go plates more expensive due to the extra unnecessary weight when that part is almost never eaten. The shrimp was also not cleaned before prepping so it had a lot of waste. Also noticed the shrimp disintegrated while peeling almost like mushy mash potatoes. The steak had no flavor at all and the coconut shrimp was old and I could barely chew on it. Sad to have spent money where food wasn’t edible but if we didn’t go we would have never known to avoid this place. Sad to see a beautiful restaurant with good customer service go to waste. They have potential but they lack flavor, the food need to be made fresh and the shrimp needs to be cleaned without the head.

The buffet offers an incredible variety of seafood — definitely a great choice for seafood lovers. You may even be surprised to find dishes you’ve never seen anywhere else!

Our waitress rarely came by to clear our table, and we even had trouble finding someone when it was time to check out. Maybe we just came at a bad time — who knows.

Great selection of food, with six different hot pot options included. The food are very fresh and good quality for a buffet restaurant.
We went there on Saturday noon, it’s not very busy, and the food are updated consistently.
For the price of $35/person, the quality and wide selections, it’s a great value and good experience.

Came on Christmas night, super busy, food was delicious and plentiful. Had a special with lobster tail, looked beautiful but I didn’t get one. They had lobster tails in sauce which were yummy. Sashimi galore from scallop to octopus to escolar, my favorite! Crab legs cames out of the shell easily and they never let the pot go low. I never thought I’d get TWO servings of Jellyfish salad! That was crazy yummy! But the chicken feet, still can’t bring myself to try them, although my husband liked them. Sushi looked great, the few I tried were great, especially the clam. They have a bunch of different types of fish eggs to add to your sushi or eat alone, that was fun. Oxtail was ok, pork belly was flavorful, cooked to perfection and so amazing. A little higher priced for Christmas but expected. The wait staff was incredibly attentive, even refilling water. There were so many large parties and those girls were on top of everything! 2 stupid dislikes: the free Spotify with commercials and the weird strobe light effects in the ladies’ room. What was that? But those did not detract from a really nice Christmas dinner that I did NOT have to cook and clean up after! Thank you!

The sashimi is my favourite. They are fresh and tasty. The rest of the buffet is just so so. They have a lot of variety. Fast and friendly waiters. They always make sure your tables are cleared of used plates. And the restrooms are pretty clean. Come here if you can eat a lot and wanna try tons of different foods.

It’s hard to find a good buffet around here now a days, when this place first opened it was good. But like all places it slowly gets worst as days go on. There is lots of cold crab and lobster, but the flavor is not the best. If you are picky there won’t be a lot of options, with the price being $35.99 per person for dinner, it is not worth it. The food is super bland and has no flavor, and the drinks have an odd taste with a weird film that lays over the top. This meat I ate was perchance raw. Also beware of the charge on big party bills, that is tip already included. I’ve seen this in another review for this place, servers are pressuring for more tips is very uncomfortable. I will no longer be making the drive to eat here.
