If I could give a zero, I would. This, without a doubt, was the worst meal I think I have ever had. My mom couldn’t even eat hers after 1 bite. The picture included shows the slab of what was supposed to be butter that was put on our burgers. Notice it isn’t melted. Cold burgers. Very greasy burgers, fries and onion rings. The place was filthy. They did come out with an announcement that they were shorthanded but still, it was disgusting. Also, you do not have anyone take your order. It is on an automated screen which was so nasty to touch. Filthy. My first and last time at Steak(ha!) and Shake.

I was surprised this location was so quiet as the service and food was exactly as expected. Now things have changed since last I remember, I don’t think I have done the kiosk. But it was quick and easy, the only problem this leaves is there is no one to assist in the dining area. But at this location I had no problem asking or waving someone down from the back. They were very friendly and quick to get you whatever you needed. The store was clean and everything looked well maintained. I got the cup chili with extra cheese and onions and they did a good job loading it up, I enjoyed the taste. My sister got a triple cheeseburger with fries, she said a bit ago they changed the size of their patties but the taste was there. I also liked the look of her fries so much I stole a few and was very happy with my fry thievery. I would definitely come back, maybe even this trip for more chili!

Went through the drive thru last night. Ordered a special order meal with a side of Frisco sauce. As the lady handed me mu order she stated with a side of Frisco sauce. Opened the bag as I drove off and there was no sauce. Drove back through the drive thru and got sauce. On the way home I ate a few fries and they were like potato sticks. Hard all the way through. Got home and opened my burger and my special order was wrong. So now I have a meal that is not edible.

This place is trash. Burgers seemed like the meat was steamed and it had the faint smell of raw beef. Luckily I didn’t get sick. The bun was obviously prepared cold. Even McDonald’s has warm bread.
There is literally is no service here. You need to use a kiosk to order, which I’m not complaining about. They even ask for a tip, haha. The drink machine situation is odd. You need to scan a code each time. I guess they’re trying to cut costs. Hopefully they can buy a bread toaster someday.
The employees were clowning around. I don’t really care for stuff like this but they obviously didn’t care much about their jobs and it shows.
The bathroom was dirty and out of soap.
The best part about this restaurant is that there are plenty of other options nearby.

Wow! From the moment we walked in the door and I didn’t see a menu, I should have turned around. You are forced to order from a kiosk. Absolutely no service whatsoever.
After you order,you get your receipt with a ticket with a scan code on it for your drink. The machine will not work unless you scan your ticket. You are also governed on the amount you may receive.
Once the drink situation was figured out, we sat down and waited for our order. Double cheeseburger meal with small fries, single bacon cheeseburger meal with small fries, and a patty melt. $30. Both burgers were ordered the same way. One was correct, and the other was plain. The patty melt was thoroughly enjoyed, and the fries were crispy.
Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I also forgot to mention that when ordering at the kiosk, they actually want you to leave a tip for service that isn’t received. I’m so confused.

Just went through the drive thru and ordered 2 milk shakes. $10.73. The first one was just a bit thicker than milk. We asked if the machine was not working properly. She brought us another one with the same consistency. Since we complained, I was scared to try it. $5.00 in the trash!

So I came here with my grandma and while the food was good, Willis was chill, nice, laid back about it, and the atmosphere was clean, the prices and especially for condiments were a little much; however, $$$ Like 40¢ per sauce condiment really? It added up to $1.50 two BBQs and two honey mustard sauces to be exact. I mean I know they have FREE refills here, and I like that a lot! Similar to Burger King, and Applebee’s, to name a few others as well. The Steakburgers along with the onion rings were good, I didn’t know they traded out fries for the onion rings on the kiosk the lady said: “oh you didn’t want to do that?” I didn’t I was just a little confused because we thought it was an add-on rather than replacing the fries with the cheeseburger steak combo and a drink. We didn’t know if they took cash $$$ or not, but thankfully they still do. In the end, it added up to $24.36 just for the two ✌️ of us.
Now, In the past on my 13th, birthday I received a milkshake and it was sour and the fries were plum cold! And back then I was dissatisfied with my personal experience and didn’t come back for a while. But this was 9 years ago, and I’m sorry but I can not recommend their milkshakes/sundaes I won’t be drinking their milkshakes/sundaes ever again however regardless. Again now about the atmosphere it’s clean and not to mention, it’s a stereotypical groovy 50s and 60s joint that was popular back-in-the-day among teenagers playing the tunes in the jukebox. Wish they had one TBH, and if they are still popular I can’t say it is now, (because not a lot of people come here anymore that I’m aware of.)
I would give them 3 stars overall not too shabby if it was worse; however, the food wasn’t too bad but the prices were just ridiculous and you didn’t a whole much for what’s it worth, $$$ at $7.74¢ I would’ve given two stars instead. But again 3 stars overall is the least I can do, for at least some common courtesy.

Wow! This is probably the best Steak n’ Shake I have ever been to. We ordered for pickup through the drive-thru and it was quick as could be. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient and the food was fresh, delicious, and well presented.
