Omg how does this place not have 5 stars on google!! My husband and I had the best dinner of our lives here! We sat at the bar and had so much fun and got catered to promptly. Fresh hot biscuits came out served from a cookie sheet straight out of the oven (surprise for us), we ordered steak skewers and salmon chowder for appetizers and whitefish entree came out piping hot and quick and servings more than plentiful (When does that ever happen?!) We split everything and it was more than enough for us but savored every bite until there was absolutely nothing left. The flavors, seasoning and everything cooked literally to perfection, all so beautifully done. I even finished the blue cheese dressing with a fork. There was nothing left but bubbly feelings of food euphoria. Then the bill came and thought there was a mistake expecting over a $200 bill but it wasn’t even half that. We had alcohol mind you. I can’t thank this place enough for the outstanding food experience! We desperately needed something different but hearty and healthy it was nothing short of that. The atmosphere topped it off, so historic and such cozy warm fall vibes. The ornate bar and top hat wall lights added to the experience. We are so so happy!!

Very interesting, old building. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious!! Their biscuits were hot, fresh, and sinfully addictive. We had the calamari appetizer and it was coked perfectly. The French onion soup was rich and delicious as well. My meal came with the coleslaw slaw that had yellow mustard in it. That was a first for me and I’m so glad I tried it! It was so good!!! Definitely would eat here again.

Our server was very pleasant and gave good suggestions. We were able to sit by the window and look at the frozen over lake. We got the brisket sandwich, which was huge and delicious!! My boyfriend and I have big appetite and we only could finish half of it. We will definitely go back!!

Great spot to stop. Our waitress was pleasant however she never asked us if we wanted beverages. We hunted her down for some. Then she just brought us the check. Never asked if we wanted anything else. We ordered additional stuff and she made the comment that she would have to get us a new check. The food was good.

Great food and superb service. The staff members all helped each other take care of the six of us. For example, one woman gave me a new set of silverware when she noticed that my fork had fallen on the floor. I didn’t have to ask. The food was great. I loved my husband’s calamari. Best I’ve ever had. He also had the shellfish chowder and practically licked the bowl. I had the whitefish sandwich with yummy sweet potato fries. They have an extensive kids menu and my grandson inhaled the spaghetti. Our waiter was Jason. I forgot my dessert to go on the table and he ran out to our car in January to give it to me!
