We happened upon this Irish Pub when walking to the pier and after poking in the door decided it would be perfect. And we were not wrong! We sat at the the bar and Geralyn was fantastic! Great cold beer on tap, $5 mimosas on Sunday and delicious fish and chips! And the price is right! Stop in you won’t regret it!

Honestly, at first I didnt even want to walk in, but we did! And everything was a 10/10. Bartender was Jeralyn. Mimosas $5 Saturday & Sunday & $6 absolute bloody marys. My friends enjoyed the strawberry & Pina Coloda daiquiri was amazing! Fast and amazing service!!!!!

We love this pub right off Pompano Beach. The food is great and the ladies working the bar and waiting tables are awesome. This reminds me of a friendly neighborhood bar, but basically on the beach. You can’t beat it. They have live music in the evenings. This is a must stop if you visit Pompano Beach!

ASAULT & BATTERY BY A BRINY EMPLOYEE!
This evening, 12/17/25, I was standing on the dance floor while a musician was playing when an employee came from behind and quite rudely ordered me to move because a pathway from the kitchen was blocked. He may have been correct and if so it was inadvertent, the place is small and it seems that the entire dance floor blocks the pathway to the kitchen. A polite request to step out of the way would have gotten this angry man exactly what he wanted immediately but his choice of words were anything but polite. When I told him that I did not appreciate being spoken to in that manner, he decided to go hands-on and violently push me with both hands to another section of the restaurant causing me to fear for my safety. A minute or so later, when I snapped the attached picture of him he became enraged, went hands-on again, and physically, pushed me out the door, warning me to never come back.
No problem Briny, there are plenty of other, safer places to go where the staff knows how to speak civilly to their customers and doesn’t assault them but this aggressive hothead is an absolute liability to your operation and a poor fit for the hospitality industry.
Surely your lawyers, insurance company and your own common sense have told you that the best time for an employee to totally lose their temper and violently attack a guest over where they are standing (and spending money) is NEVER!
Watch your security cameras and interview the staff who witnessed this incident.

Food was so good for lunch, we went back for dinner, then dinner the next night too!!! The Irish Egg Rolls were to die for. Fish and chips were my husband’s favorite. Everything was excellent. Great prices, excellent happy hour and the ambiance is just what you would expect in an “upscale dive bar”. Sara, our server for the two dinners, is the type of server who remembers what you drink. Attentive and sweet. She deserves a huge raise! 😉

This “upscale dive bar” has survived major renovations and new construction all around it at Pompano Beach, FL for years and yet maintains its local dive charm and service.
It’s a must visit for those who enjoy true history and culture as its been in continuing business since 1945!!
