Ordered here about 4 times during my stay in NYC. Definitely the best beef patty and so many tasty extras to choose from. Most convenient is to order online and pickup there, our orders were ready super quick and staff was friendly. Our orders were well prepared but one time had unwanted jalapeño so watch out! They offered their classic free peanuts once, other days didn’t see any. Employees were polite. Worth a go!

This is one of the best five guys I’ve ever been to, and a lot of it comes down to the staff. The manager, Shiniqua, is so warm, helpful, and friendly. All the people behind the grills are really efficient and kind too!
I’ve been here a handful of times, and it’s always a solid experience. My burger is always the way I want it and it comes out quite quickly. I can’t imagine how many people come in and out everyday, and how many may be tourists, but I’ve always seen everyone be really patient. I’ve also seen the manager go above and beyond, using the Spanish she knows to communicate with a customer trying to order. She’s also walked my roommate and I through soda options you could make on the machines.
The customer service experience here is really great front and back of house. They get all they need to get done and I’m sure it’s in part to strong leadership from Shiniqua.

An excellent choice for a rapid lunch, featuring exceptionally delicious burgers. I placed an online order for pickup at the restaurant. I recommend ordering a regular beverage due to the drink refill option. The burgers were superb.

This place is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. The employees simply do not care about orders and are playing around, chatting with their friends who aren’t employees, bringing them free fries.
DO NOT COME HERE

Portions are big, service was great, and the food tasted delicious as usual! Got the bacon cheese hot dog, little fries, and medium soda. Price can add up since they don’t have sets and everything is a la carte. The peanuts were so good!!

The hamburger and the fries are a really good combination. The place is prepare to have fast food so the atmosphere is not so fancy. It’s a good option if you want to eat something quick because your order is going to be prepared really fast. Compare to other hamburgs, this is definitely one of the best.

Love this place, always so fresh and tasty and you get it exactly your way. The only minus is when you place a large order or multiple burgers the toppings are always off not by much but something. Still fresh and tasty and the burgers are large in size and very flavourful. You can always get a milkshake that pairs so well with a yummy burger and fries.

Let’s be honest — I walked in for a burger, but I left with restored faith in humanity. The woman cleaning the windows at the doorway was so cheerful I started wondering if Windex contains joy. The cashier greeted me like I was an old friend. Behind the counter? Big smiles, bigger energy. The fry guy was shaking fries like he was auditioning for Top Chef: Fry Edition.
Was the burger mind-blowing? Not quite. It was good, solid — nothing to write home about. But the vibe? Impeccable. I didn’t feel like I was in a fast food joint — I felt like I’d crashed a family reunion where everyone actually gets along. Forgot I was in NYC.
Friendly, fast – 4 stars for Five Guys!

Didn’t like it. My 4th day in New York and tried quite some burgers. This was the worst burger I had so far, but also the most expensive one.
Was pretty dry and didn’t had a lot of flavour.
I would choose something else to eat.

Tried this place after hearing a lot of hype, but honestly, it was a big letdown. The burgers were incredibly bland — just buns, patties, and cheese with no flavor or effort put in. Fries were even worse, reeking of burnt oil and tasting just as bad. Packaging was sloppy, and to top it off, the staff were unfriendly and inattentive. They didn’t even provide basic things like tissues. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
