From the warm and friendly welcome,

We absolutely love coming to Geneva Buttermilk for brunch — it never disappoints! We only come to this location because it’s the best. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. The biscuits were amazing (we had both the regular and the cinnamon roll biscuit — which literally tasted like a warm, buttery cinnamon roll). We ate them so quickly we didn’t get a chance to take a photo! The cinnamon roll pancakes were indulgent and flavorful, and the Red Rooster skillet was packed with great flavor.
Drinks were just as good — the espresso martini was perfectly balanced, the butterscotch coffee was such a fun twist, and the freshly squeezed strawberry orange juice tasted so fresh and vibrant. We also tried the egg panini, and it was excellent. Truly, everything we had was spot on.
The service was exceptional as always. Our server, Maria, was warm, patient, and friendly while we took our time deciding. She offered great suggestions and made us feel completely comfortable and unrushed. We also had the chance to meet the manager, Michelle, who was welcoming and kind — it was so nice to actually connect with her, which doesn’t always happen at restaurants.
We also want to mention that they no longer use the Google/Toast waitlist system and are currently working on removing it. If you join the waitlist there, they won’t be able to see it on their end, so we recommend calling the restaurant directly for now until this is fully resolved. They were still kind enough to accommodate us and get us seated, which we really appreciated.
We especially appreciated how accommodating the staff was with our service dog. Not every place handles that well, but they were incredibly thoughtful. They didn’t tuck us away in a corner, made sure everyone was comfortable, and even brought water for our pup — such a kind touch.
Amazing food, great drinks, and truly outstanding hospitality every time. Highly recommend!

We were first timers at Buttermilk this morning, and we can’t wait to go back. The BEST pancakes ever, and they came with the most delicious mixed fruit jam. Lattes were perfect, too, as was our server. A 10/10 experience from start to finish.

We had a large group for breakfast. The manager Michelle was extremely helpful in accommodating the group on such short notice. (Several other breakfast restaurants in the area were not able to accommodate our group without prior reservations.) We were seated immediately with no wait. Our table was easily accessible which is important to me since I have mobility issues.. Our group ordered on separate checks, which can sometimes be an issue. Our orders were all correct, the food came out nice and hot, in a timely manner. The food was delicious. The serving sizes are ridiculously large. I usually order the lemon blueberry pancakes, but this time I tried the French toast. It was very good. The dishes that the other members ordered also looked delicious. The prices are very much in line with other breakfast dining establishments in the area. Our waitress was attentive and made sure to stop by our table several times to check on us and proactively provided take home containers. I would definitely recommend Buttermilk. The atmosphere is light and airy and the staff is all very polite and welcoming.

I can’t stop thinking about our meal. Our waiter was super cool, attentive yet gave us space & was really charismatic. He was super easy to talk to & ask questions.
Our food was 10/10! I had cinnamon roll pancakes (omg ) cinnamon sugar biscuits (sweet tooth anyone? Hit the spot), chicken fried chicken breakfast skillet (the flavor was on point!!) and honey bun pancakes (perfection).
I had a cookie butter latte that was served in a super cute glass, butter was perfectly presented & the syrup was also aesthetically pleasant.
I am not from the area, but I will make a point to go back because I keep thinking about all of the other food options that I still want to try. Great atmosphere, excellent service and incredible food! Well done.

I love Buttermilk Cafe! The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is very chill and the restaurant is spacious. I especially love how there is so much natural lighting in this restaurant, it helps me avoid feeling ill after eating. (Fluorescent LED lighting makes me nauseous and often results with migranes). Our server made sure to ask about our preferences especially after I hinted that I had a milk sensitivity.
I normally go for the sweater breakfast dishes like the waffles, pancakes, and french toast. Today we tried the Chicken and “Wow”fles and The Rooster eggs benedict dish. They were both very delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. For drinks we had the Smores hot chocolate and the white chocolate milkaccino. I highly recommend trying them both. Other items that I recommend from previous visits are the regular waffles and orange juice.

Great place although I had to wait 45 minutes, loved my meal of sausage, eggs, pancakes, and potatoes. The potatoes were very good but the eggs had a weird texture, great service and dining experience would recommend to anyone who wants a nice breakfast

Stopped here for breakfast with my husband. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress came right over and provided friendly and attentive service from the start. Menu options are vast, but not overwhelming. Portion sizes are huge! My husband and I both ordered The Market Skillet. He got Honey Bun pancakes and I got Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll pancakes. Everything was delicious!! Highly recommended stopping in if you’re in the area and want good food at a great value.
