We had the salmon and steak with a side of mashed potatoes and it was all very good! Service was excellent- for a holiday or busy times it seems like a reservation would be a good idea but for those who didn’t have one it did not appear they were waiting more than a half hour to be seated

I didn’t like how the website was set up on mobile devices to order food. Went inside to order food. The hostess, Emma, who was so cute, indicated that I have to order my food at the bar. She had a sweet demeanor. Madison, who has been super helpful, took my order and provided me with my drink. She’s a busy bee.
Thank you for taking the time to take my order and having a chill attitude. Madison even engaged with me with a British accent, while I had a west Indian one. Really cool lady. She even went out of way to grab me some sour cream for my chicken bowl. Thanks, Madison!!
I had one piece of my chicken caprese. Omgoodness…delish … I literally said it outloud, “I’m not sharing…” My husband is waiting outside in our vehicle. I feel kinda bad for him waiting for as long as he did. He may get a piece… A piece. Lol.

Doolittle’s Woodfire Grill in Fargo is a great spot! We started with an espresso martini, and despite a quirky garnish (the handful of beans on top was a mystery, we all know it’s 3!), it was delicious. The chicken wild rice soup was a standout – creamy, flavorful, and a must-try. The rotisserie BBQ chicken dinner was tender and tasty, with creamy coleslaw on the side. However, the seasoned fries were a bit of a misstep – they would’ve been better plain, and a menu note would’ve been nice. Our server, David, was fantastic – attentive, kind, and made the experience shine. One suggestion for improvement: the open kitchen layout made for some distracting background noise, with the chef yelling orders to the staff. Still, we’d recommend Doolittle’s for the great food and service. Worth a visit!

I recently visited Doolittles and had a really mixed experience. I want to start by saying the service was absolutely amazing. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. That kind of customer service truly makes a difference and is appreciated.
Unfortunately, the food itself was pretty bland. It just didn’t have the flavor or wow-factor I was expecting. The only standout item for me was the bread — that was actually really good.
Overall, I’d come back because the service was great, but I definitely hope the food quality improves to match how wonderful the staff is.

Stopped in for drinks and desserts! Atmosphere was buzzing and fun! Loved being able to view the action in the kitchen and the menu items were delicious and served up quickly.

We went during off hours on a Saturday. We had great service and the food was very good. For 3 pasta dishes and an appetizer (we only had water to drink), it cost almost $100. We enjoyed the food quite a bit and the atmosphere was nice and quiet, the only negative for us was the price, which makes me wish I could just deduct half of a star instead of a whole one.

Do not get the wings! They are not buffalo wings, they are full chicken wings with a weird oily/vinegar glaze. They also come out cold, skin is not crispy at all. Worst wings I have had in Fargo.

The food and service were terrible. We went on a Tuesday night and it was not busy. I ordered my burger well done it came out pink and cold. The bartender never came back to check on us. She stopped by as the food was coming out and asked if everything looked alright and at that time it looked like our food was right. I cut into my burger and realized it was still mooing. Finally my friend went to the bar to tell her to come over and get the food by that time it was at least 15 minutes since our food came out and my friend was done eating so I could not wait the time it took to have my burger redone. I asked for soup and that was awful as well. I didn’t even finish it. As the bill came she said oh we took the burger off (oh well thanks for doing me that favor when you guys screwed it up) she also goes we took the soup off too, I was thinking good because it was terrible. So for two drinks and my friends food it was $50 not worth it at all and I tipped $20 because well I am a bartender/server but it’s not for me that I won’t be back.

Came here for dinner with my wife. Started with the calamari as an appetizer and that tasted great, especially with their sauce! Then, my wife and I split the burger and the chicken and ribs combo meal. The chicken and ribs were fine, but not our favorite. The fries were excellent though, and my wife claimed those immediatly. Great seasoning on them. The mashed potatoes and the burger were also excellent. Were we to order again, we’d probably get two burgers with fries and ask for the calamari sauce on the side. Would come again.

Walk in and the restaurant seems busy. 30 minut wait. However were they busy. New waiter. No place settings. 4 or 5 visible open tables clean but not set and at least 4 to 5 groups waiting just on the half of the restaurant i could see. 3 people greeting at the front counter but not alot of support staff for the waiter. New waiter is doing everything. Place setting, getting water, setting out bread and butter, getting missing silverware. Taking order for drinks food and everything for at least 6 to 7 tables. Clearing tables too. He working his but off, but seeing others standing around. Putting alot of work on waiter and no break for him. Waiter is not the issue, finally started getting support an hr into us sitting down. With somene helping to clear plates a little bit. Walleye was over slightly over cooked
