Carbone Miami – Major Food Group
Reviews
Our server Gio was very helpful and attentive and was able to answer any questions we had, the other members of staff who served us (we didn’t get their names) were just as friendly and warm.
The food was delicious, great flavours and portion sizes and an extensive selection of wine. The complimentary antipasti was also a nice touch. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to experience some high quality dining in Miami!
We had a late dinner and the place was full and vibrant with that classic Miami energy. The portions are big and everything was excellent. Even the making of the Caesar salad felt like a little show.
Our service was on point and the food was incredible. We ordered the spicy rigatoni vodka, the fettuccine con funghi, the artichokes, and two amazing desserts. This is a place I will absolutely come back to. Totally recommended!
Bringing the New York red sauce supper club energy made famous by Major Food Group, this output blends nostalgic charm with Miami flair. The space features dim lighting, dark wood paneling, mirrors and chandeliers throughout, impeccably tailored waitstaff and a playlist that keeps the room buzzing. It’s lively, stylish, and intentionally over-the-top in all the best ways.
Service here is fantastic and teams work tirelessly here to ensure constant coverage for guests. While there is a heavy element of theatrics, we found it to be charming and sincere. Servers here can also help guide you through the menu and provide helpful suggestions without being overbearing or pushy.
As for the food, it’s as indulgent as the hype suggests. The Spicy Rigatoni Vodka remains the star of the show (a Carbone classic) and there are some Miami specific dishes such as the snapper as well as the coconut key lime pie that are must tries.
Like the New York and Vegas locations, prices are high and would strongly budget $100/pp. Reservations are an absolute must (although they are easier to land compared to its NY sibling). Finally note that there is a dress code that is strictly enforced – shorts, jeans and sandals are not allowed inside and you are encouraged to dress for the occasion (this was a bit surprising, but not an unreasonable ask).
For people driving in, note there is a large gravel carpark across the street with ample capacity.

long story:
easily the best experience/food. I have been to carbone in vegas and it was divine. wanted to try miami for my birthday and it did not disappoint. AMAZING to say the least. the table charcuterie was delish. the bread basket is wonderful (the tomato bread is so airy it’s like angel food but savory) the pickled cauliflower is a flavor burst from heaven. the table side scraping of parm is so tasty. I emailed the restaurant a little more than 24hr in advance to ask for the chicken parm (we didn’t want veal) a chicken parm is not a regular menu item. it was added to my table, no hassle. we also had the spicy rigatoni vodka and the meatballs (also an off menu item) followed by a slice of the hazelnut chocolate cake since it was my birthday. and of course the little italian cookies are so good as well. the best food, so delicious. so filling. and we had a wonderful time!!
The service in this place is top notch. The team is very friendly, accommodating and take their time to explain the best recommendations they can provide.
We arrived early so we started with drinks at the bar. Once seated, you can smell the delicious truffle lingering throughout the entire dining room.
From the bread and salami to start, to the Ceasers salad with anchovies, we were already off to a great start. Next the tortellini, octopus and zucchini were phenomenal. Spicy rigatoni is a must and we also wanted to try the rib eye cooked medium, always impressed with this place.
Can’t wait to be back to enjoy the ambiance this establishment has to offer!
The drink selection is great, the Sancerre bottle we got was delicious.
Our waiter was fantastic and so kind. We had an amazing time. The only reason for the 3 stars were the desserts.
The portions are generous, and they serve a nice complementary bread basket with pickled cauliflower and salami, which was a delightful touch.
We enjoyed the following dishes: calamari Marco, Caesar alla ZZ, caprese, fennel salad, and double lamb chops. However, both pastas we ordered—the fettuccini con funghi and the spicy rigatoni—were average.
Needs reservation.
The food? Incredible. The spicy rigatoni was our absolute favorite—every bit as amazing as everyone says. We also loved the Caesar salad, which was freshly prepared right on spot. We finished the night with rainbow cookies, panettone (My favorite. It was exquisite) and the vanilla ice cream topped with olive oil and white truffle… chef’s kiss.
Everything—from the atmosphere to the service to each dish—was outstanding. Totally recommend Carbone Miami! Will definitely be back.
I want to give a huge shoutout to my server, VOLKEN. Dining alone can be intimidating, but you were patient, never rushed, and truly exceptional at your work. You made the entire experience effortless and enjoyable.
