This was the closest place to our hotel. Surprisingly it was absolutely amazing. We had the shrimp fajitas and the carne asada enchiladas as well as the chicken tortilla soup. Is the chicken tortilla soup portion alone could have fed three people. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and was served with rice beans, guacamole, lettuce, and sour cream. The enchiladas had four large portions with carnie asada cooked to perfection as well. Our server Hannah took great care of us during the entire experience.

We would absolutely recommend if you’re happened to be looking for a great place to eat.

Tried after reading reviews but was not upto the reviews said.
Asked for a non alcoholic drink and was served alcoholic.
There was a big communication gap. Had to literally point fingers on the menu to mention what we wanted.
The server was great and was attentive, only problem was communication.
Food was average at best, portions were huge though

They brought us the food super fast and the place was busy. Only reason to my 4 Starts in Food was due to hubby’s stake. He order MR but got Well instead. We think it’s due to the plate being so hot I must of cooked the food even further, it was still good, he just prefers more pink. Margarita was great, I got The Mango one and we both liked it. Random: the chandelier was pretty unique. Food was well proportioned although I do wish my plate would have had more shrimp due price but then again, It all makes up for it. Great Staff, Ladies were fast and nice to us

Skinny Tacos were delicious! I had the carne asada. Hubby ordered a chicken dish that he really liked too.
I can’t believe this place only had a 4.1 rating. Much better than that.

Best Mexican food in Glenwood Springs! Tons of great options to choose from, including tacos, enchiladas, tamales, and chile rellenos.

My table ordered two combination plates and the Mexican Flag (4 enchiladas) and everything was hot, quick, and tasty.

The salsa was great, the margaritas were excellent, and the service was nice. They even had a Mariachi player going from table to table playing fun songs like La Bamba.

First off the food is amazing. Kevin my waiter was great and fast and attentive even on a very packed night after all the hot springs closed they got a big rush, and the lady said it would be a 20 minute wait, I only waited maybe 10 minutes to get a table. But Kevin was good!!! Great server and so kind. And the Mole is amazing. I’ll be back.

The food was fantastic! It was quick, but not pre-made overly fast, just quick. Kids meals are priced very well. Everyone enjoyed their meal!

Come for the Tacos, Stay for the Hilariously Perplexed Hosts!”
Let me tell you about Tequila’s: the food is fantastic, the service is lightning fast, and your water glass will never know thirst. It’s like they have a secret water-refilling ninja who swoops in the moment you take a sip. Everything’s just as you’d want in a great Mexican restaurant.
But here’s the twist: if you dare to walk in solo and say, “Just me, a table for one, please,” you might just throw the host stand into a momentary identity crisis. They’ll peer at you with the same confusion as if you just asked for a flamenco dancer at a pizza joint. They’ll glance around like, “Wait, where’s the rest of your party? Are you sure you’re not here for a pickup order?” You might have to gently reassure them that yes, you are indeed flying solo and just want to enjoy some delicious enchiladas by yourself. Once they’ve wrapped their heads around this groundbreaking concept, you’re golden.
In the end, it’s a fantastic place to eat. Just be ready for a tiny bit of comic relief if you’re dining alone. Once they seat you, it’s all smooth sailing and tasty salsa from there!

This place is very good, and the amount of food you receive is enormous. I promise you will not leave hungry. Each entree is good for two people we made the mistake of ordering soup and some tacos and the servings were so big we took home half the soup and I couldn’t finish the taco plate which has rice, beans, pico and guacamole. The soup was delicious and you could taste all the ingredients on that tortilla soup. We weren’t brave to try desserts as they are also as big as an entree and not just the plate they come in but the amount of food on the plate is just big but so delicious. Overall a great experience with the food, service and the location is walking distance from the hotel. The pricing could appear a bit high however you are getting twice the amount of food not like other places. I highly recommend this location.
