Very good overall taste. Alfredo’s Pizza Cafe Scranton, PA – Reddit

The staff was mid-level attentive and took care of most of our needs. The decor was a bit dark inside and was just step up from regular Italian place. It was good food and comfortable. We got in and out pretty quickly to move on to our hotel. All together not bad at all if your in the area check it out yourself and see what you think.
I’m afraid I must have gone to “the other” Alfredo’s Pizza, because this was not good pizza at all.
The pizza was bland — absolutely no flavor. You can’t just throw everything into the center and hope for the best. There needs to be some thought behind it. For example, when someone asks for peppers on their pizza, they’d probably like to taste the other ingredients too.
I have no idea what kind of artificial cheese they’re using, but I sincerely hope I never taste anything like that again. The pepperoni was cheap and flavorless, even when tried on its own. Honestly, every gas station I’ve been to serves better pizza than this.
And when I was done, the waiter asked, “Do you want a box for the rest of the pizza?” I said yes — and then had to put it in the box myself. No tip after an experience like that.
Unfortunately I didn’t see Micheal Scott and the crew, but still would go again for “The Good Pizza.”
The drinks were a bit too small. Awesome service I must say. We wondered how “Pizza by Alfredo” would have been…
Came here Saturday Night 12/20 for dinner, party of 5. Ordered drinks from the bar, appetizers and dinner for 5. When salads came out we did not receive utensils because they were out, we asked and got some however one person received a single steak knife wrapped in a napkin so we had to ask again. Don’t bother asking for bread with a pasta entree (which is included) because you won’t receive it until you’re finished. No kids menu available, got charged $16 for a kids spaghetti with 2 meatballs. When I asked the manager Zach why I was charged so much for a kids meal when an adult entree with a salad is just a few dollars more, he told me ” that’s the way we have always charged for kids portions, we charge $11 for spaghetti and $5 for a side of meatballs.” It’s pretty unfair when there’s not a kids menu (so you don’t know what the price is) and you trust them to not screw you over, then they charge that kind of money for a handful of pasta, 2 meatballs and some sauce. How hard is it for a restaurant to have a kids menu with pricing? That’s 3 negative things in one visit. I drove 3 and a half hours to eat here to get nickel and dimed on a kids meal and the manager not to care. Go eat dinner somewhere else that doesn’t rob you on a kids meal because they think they’re still famous from a brief mention 18 years ago on a show nobody watches anymore.
