The Lakeview Inn, a stage coach stop in the 1700’s is now the home of Filomena Lakeview; one of the best Italian restaurants in South Jersey! The restaurant is named after the owner’s mother, Filomena. Filomena came straight from Abruzzi, Italy and brought all of her authentic recipes with her to share with our chefs. Went for my anniversary. I booked through the Ressy app. It wasn’t Busy when I arrived so they just sat us without checking the reservation or knowing any details of my anniversary. So it sucked that it wasn’t acknowledged in anyway. Nonetheless, we still enjoyed our food and the music.

A winner in all categories. Friendly staff. Daily lunch specials. Reasonable prices. Gorgeous setting. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf with mashers and peas. Lunch came with roasted peppers and bread. I’ve NEVER seen roasted peppers served as a complementary starter. Outstanding. My wife had the steak salad. Literally – a steak – served over a huge portion of salad. Our guest had pasta. Photos attached.

Went to Filomena Lakeview on a client’s recommendation and it hit the spot. Started with the shrimp cocktail, then the house salad, and wrapped it up with gnocchi in vodka sauce with prosciutto — all great. Tom took care of me and was super nice and personable. Food was great, I’ll 100% be back.

Very nice restaurant. Definitely more of a fine dinning setting. My cousin had her baby shower here & it was so nice. The service was wonderful, all of the staff were super nice & accommodating. The food was good (on the pricey side). The inside of the establishment is very warm & inviting. I didn’t know that this building has been here since the 1700s as a carriage house. Back in the 50s my grandparents went here when it was a cowboy bar. It’s really nice to see what the new owner has done. It is named after his mother, which is so sweet.

Very lovely here and great for a good time when you are more dressed up for a good lunch or dinner. Went here after a funeral and everyone who was here was very kind and sweet. The food was delicious and we had bread and the pepper on our table and it was so good. I got the eggplant dinner meal and it was delicious. Highly recommend going here.

Went and had lunch today with my husband and daughter. We all got the crab cake sandwich. It took 25-30 mins to come out and once it did, everything was cold, including our friies. I’ve had the sandwich before when it was hot and it was good but not today. Who wants to eat a cold crab cake sandwich? My daughter ordered a side salad and it was soggy. So disappointing as I picked the spot to eat at today. I just have to wonder how long our food sat ready to be dropped off for it to be so cold. You need to do better, especially for the prices charged.

I just had my daughter and son in law’s baby shower here and I can’t say enough about the food, service and atmosphere! They were so accommodating, especially Fred, who unset and then reset the tables so I could decorate. He was so helpful the entire time. The food was amazing and so many people came up to me and said how delicious their meal was. I highly recommend having a special event here or just go grab dinner, you won’t be disappointed!

Every year at Christmas myself and my wife have a Christmas party for family and friends.
If you have never been to Filomenas Lakeview you need to have dinner there.
This venue has amazing reasonably priced food and the staff is great.
Amazing atmosphere and if i am not mistaken they have live music usually a duo for your listening pleasure.
Filomenas Lakeview is a great experience you need to try.
This was our 6 year of having our party upstairs in their very eloquent room.
Plenty of parking!
