So.

After a day carrying bags for an (almost!) 17 year old, I had the good fortune to find myself staring at the menu outside Pacino’s door.

Saying that I was hungry was an understatement. The bags I was laden with were beginning to look edible.

Dublin on a Saturday, at 5 pm, I tried more out of hope than anything by asking the nice girl inside the door was there any chance of a table?!?!… and I truly don’t know what class of an angel was looking down at that moment (…possibly the one that looks after lost causes???) but she said YES!!!

The place looked stunning, all still decked out in twinkly Christmas lights, and the menus are delightful, with something for everyone. We had a mix of starters, mains and pizzas, and one common theme throughout them all- they were all as equally exceptional as each other. The “Arancini Al Funghi” is to die for… delectably delightful balls of mushroom risotto, with a crispy coating and an arrabiata sauce- it s perfection. The pizzas are just how Nonna likes them… light and airy with just the right amount of topping, and the flavours from those toppings jump out. I had the Salami & Gorgonzola with oodles of smooth blue loveliness all over it.

Pacino’s is definitely my new favourite Dublin eatery, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it just feels “right” if you know what I mean? The only downside is that I need to find an excuse to get back over again soon!!!

Treat yourself, I know if Al is ever in town, he’ll stop by…

17/10 for pizzaness…

Absolutely loved this Italian pizza restaurant! The pizza was outstanding — thin, crispy base with fresh, high-quality ingredients and full of flavour. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Service was quick, and everything arrived piping hot. A great spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to any pizza lover!

Everything about Pacino’s is ……… ok, just ok. The food is clearly made way in advance and just heated up as ordered ………. from being seated to looking at the menu, ordering wine and three courses to paying the bill was less than an hour. First course (Arrancini) was with us about a minute after ordering ………. they were a frozen product and deep fried, served without any garnish with cold spots because they weren’t left in the fryer long enough obviously. Having said that, they were ok.
Main course again arrived literally minutes after we finished the Starters ………. again, they were ok.
The Dessert (Tiramisu) had clearly been sitting in it’s bowl in the fridge for a few hours but it was ok.
The prices are absolutely extortionate in comparison to the quality.
The Staff however are outstanding and really friendly.
It was ok but we wouldn’t return.

This was my second trip to Ireland and I’m sad to say I only found this place on our last day! INCREDIBLE PIZZA! We got the pizza Ruccola (I may be spelling it wrong) and its one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The table next to us had a cheese plate that looked amazing also, if we weren’t so full, we would have ordered that too! This was the most authentic Italian food that i’ve found outside of Italy.

I had a gluten free pizza there – I’m celiac and have really bad reactions if I’m contaminated but had no issue there! The pizza was good but not outstanding either.
Service was really quick and staff super friendly

Lovely and authentic Italian joint in the city area of dublin Pacino’s! Amazing pizzas, pastas, bruschettas, cocktails and mocktails and fantastic desserts! We had tiramisu and cheese cake and they were outstanding! The ambience was cool and spacious and not very noisy! We had done advance reservation! The place is generally crowded and is happening! The staff was supportive and overall a very good satisfying experience when you spend so much money! It was a bit expensive but worth the price! Highly recommended and a must try! My cousins favourite in the whole of dublin! It also has a sit out area!

We came for dinner. And shared a Margarita Pizza. Pizza was good. Wine selection was fairly extensive and reasonably priced.

Remarkable! This place comes close to a 6 star experience. The pizza was excellent but the steak and salmon dish’s were exceptional. The garlic mash potato’s are maybe the best even served, a rare exceptional mash that treats your tastebuds with the respect they deserve. Every meal and every ingredient was exceptional and excellent. One after another was amazing and built on the dining experience like so few restaurants do. The service staff was brisk and polite, not intrusive but attended often enough to make you feel welcome dispute a parked restaurant. This is amping the best meals I have had. As a side note the pizza is good, excellent in fact but the other dish’s was an order of magnitude better! You are going to love this place.

Friendly staff and prompt service. The pizza I had was delicious and huge. The cider beer was amazing. Loved it all. The bathrooms were clean and maintained. They were stocked with toilet paper which is amazing because it’s sad how other establishments lack maintaining toilet paper and soap as if it’s not important for the customer. Thank you for caring. It’s appreciated.
