We went to McDonalds in Williamsburg Virginia tonight 12/26/25, we arrived at 9:15, the drive thru line sat idle with no one taking the orders for over 15 minutes so we went inside and ordered. We ordered by the time we placed our order at the kiosk it was 9:38. Order number 783. We patiently waited for our food, they were busy but they were also so unorganized and so unclean!! At 10:25 I went to the counter and asked if order 783 was ready, I saw them bagging my food and it sitting there not under any kind of heat lamp while employees were emptying trash cans, whipping counters down, the “manager” was telling people they were closed. No one was finishing my order! I started filming and asked why they weren’t finishing my order I had now been there almost an hour and your employees are taking the trash out and wiping down counters, trying to go home! The male wiping the counter then proceeds to yell at me that packing my food isn’t his damn job it’s not his fault. I asked for the manager. A female comes around the counter and proceeds to start screaming at me and refuses to give me a receipt of any kind, the kiosk did not work so I never received any receipt! We finally just said screw it we would contact corporate office. We then went to our hotel about 3 minutes away. We received no sauces, my sons happy meal did not have the toy, and no napkins. Once we got settled in I went to eat my double quarter pounder and pulled out a huge piece of plastic!! Which appears to be a part of someone’s glove, which I’m not sure how that would happen because I never saw any employee wearing gloves! I have a video of the workers and how they acted and a video of us removing the plastic from my sandwich.

I written a formal complaint to corporate but the general public needs to know right away to avoid this place at all costs!!

This McDonald’s is better than others in Williamsburg, but even with almost nobody in the whole place, we didn’t get our food delivered to us even though the table tent implies it will be delivered (both on the picture and on the wording).

Went to this location after Busch Gardens with my small children. It turned a wonderful day into a miserable evening. It took an hour to get 2 happy meals. In the hour I was there I saw three orders get completed and every single one had something wrong with it. To top it off I watched the manager scream at people in the drive thru and none of the employees seemed like they wanted to be there. They were bothered by every customer that came through the door. I say close the location. It would be better to go without than receive this level of service. A true embarrassment to the community.

Terrible. So dirty the way they wrapped it up and inside I requested if they can use other sauce and no ketchup, pickles and tomatoes. Inside was a soggy bread and messy dressing.

If I could do negative I would. -187 or more. Every single time I am there, morning, afternoon or night there’s never anyone tending the drive thru. Which, cool, you don’t want to offer that option, put a cone or do the automated voice saying we aren’t open. But nope it’s always within posted business hours and no one ever helps. The one time in the 15+ times I got service, everything was old. The tea tasted four days old, the fries looked like they’d been fried 8 times but were still cold, and the food was cold and not even what I ordered. Save your time. I’ve tried and tires. Horrible ownership. Not even management. They do not care.

This is one of the tastiest McDonald’s I have ever ate at. The second I got out of my vehicle and smelled the “loud” all around I knew that food would be amazing.

They also have a really nice out door sitting area to enjoy your meal.

We have been sitting in the drive thru line for the past 40 minutes…20 minutes for someone to take our order and 20min waiting for our food. Even tried to go inside and they locked all the doors but they were still supposed to be open until 10p. Ended up just leaving, even though we paid. Who knows what they would’ve done with our food or the quality at that point. By far THEE WORST experience I’ve ever had at a fast food place, let alone a McDonald’s. I wish I had read the reviews first before we pulled in, but who even thinks of reading reviews on a McDonald’s (when it should be quick and fast).

Don’t let the 1 star fool you, this is a zero star (and probably the worst) McDonald’s I have ever been to. Planned ahead and placed a mobile order for curbside pick-up. Arrived to a billowing line of cars in the drive-thru, but found my carside pick-up spot. 20+ minutes later no sign of an employee…dining room doors locked…drive-thru becomes only option because no one else in the curbside pick-up line has received food either…get in the drive-thru line…wait again…20 minutes later no new orders taken…call restaurant (no answer)…call again (get human)…instructed to go back to curbside spot…food was “supposedly” coming right out…5 minutes later signs of hope…an order appears…finally a feeling of victory, BUT nope…missing drink, missing nuggets, missing sauces (including the ones paid for), and skimpy filled french fry containers AND everything lukewarm. Avoid this location at all costs! Now to figure out how to get a refund for all the missing items!!

Sat in line for 45 minutes waiting to get our food. We wouldn’t have stayed but I had already ordered and paid through the app ahead of time. This restaurant is located right outside Busch Gardens Williamsburg. The night we went, it was after a Halloween event there and this restaurant should have been better prepared for the onslaught of visitors after such an event. One person working the drive thru and they just couldn’t keep up with the amount of orders coming in. Lucky for them, the food was decent and not cold when we got it….but we won’t go there again after leaving that amusement park for fear of having to wait that insane amount of time.

Absolutely terrible experience—again.

I sat in the drive-thru for over 35 minutes, only to be met with employees who were short, blunt, and clearly annoyed that customers were even there. When I finally got my food, it was cold, the fries were old, and to top it off there was no straw, no napkins, and half the order was wrong. I literally threw away half of what I paid for.

What makes this even more frustrating is that this is the 4th time I’ve given this location a chance, and it has gotten consistently worse. The service here is so bad that I actually use it as an example for how NOT to treat customers when training my own employees. It is baffling that management accepts this level of performance. With a 2.9 Google rating, it’s obvious I’m not the only one having these issues.

Absolutely unacceptable. Do better.
