We went on a Saturday night and this place was fantastic. We had a party of six and they had plenty of room for seating of large parties way larger than us! The staff were efficient and very pleasant, greeting with a smile and quick to help! Food was good – forgot to take pics when we first got there but you get the idea. For a chain bbq place, it’s meets their standard of quality you grow to expect!

Ormond Beach is my home and I grew up with Sonny’s of Holly Hill, a stone’s throw away from our homestead. Thirty-one years later, Publix is in that spot so Port Orange, here I come! I must say that you haven’t lost your touch. The same quality bbq is being served a distance from my mother’s home, but that’s fine, because I love your food! I also want to specifically mention “Morgan H” who was my customer service agent. Her southern charm and friendly little voice made my order completion a joy! She told me she was new. I can’t believe that, due to her suggestions with a smile! Take a bow on a job well done, Sonny’s. Your food and customer service are audacious!

This is undoubtedly the most impressive Sonny’s I have ever visited. The food, consistent with Sonny’s renowned quality, was absolutely delightful, featuring mouth-watering BBQ that left me craving more. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly, adding a warm and welcoming touch to our experience. I also noticed a well-organized take-out section that makes it convenient for anyone on the go. I can’t wait to return!

The place appears very clean and well kept which is always a plus. They have a nice selection of menu items. The sauces were very flavorful. My only complaint is the chicken was tiny. I had Cornish hens that were bigger. The drumstick was smaller than some chicken wings. Had I have known I would of ordered two.

Visited to redeem a birthday deal also bought two maple bacon grilled chicken sandwiches that were excellent cooked a little bit drier than I wanted, but the flavors were so good. Enjoyed our Arnold Palmer‘s and fries. Fries were not hot. Waited for at least 30 minutes in line, wish that the food was hot when it was served, but got excellent service at the window same girl all the time she’s pretty good. I enjoy visiting this location. I don’t live in Port Orange, but I travel there because I get good service.

Never been there. One Blood provided a coupon for a free lunch and we took advantage of the promotion today (thanks Sonnys). All the employees were super friendly, service was great and our meals were excellent. The establishment was neat and very clean. I recommend and will definitely go back.

Good! The food came out quickly after we ordered and was fresh and accurate. Never have to worry about getting a small portion here. The egg rolls were surprisingly tasty.
The service was pretty poor until Peggy showed up. We were sat a little after we came in and waited more than 30 minutes on a slow night before one of the three servers we pulled aside came to help us when we were about to leave. Peggy was great, very sweet, and helped us out a lot.
The interior is very rustic and smells amazing. All the tables and floors were very clean.

I’m disappointed with the changes that have been made in the menu offerings. Up until recently Sonny’s served the best grilled chicken sandwich anywhere. Went in this week to order it again and found it has been discontinued. Terrible decision. Almost as bad as when they discontinued the salad bar. Guess I’ll have to go next door to Dustin’s Bar BQ and get my salad bar and grilled chicken.
