The Brownie pancakes were good. The salmon on salad was okay. I Ordered eggs with bell peppers onions and mushrooms, but the bell peppers were almost raw. The potatoes were very undercooked. Our waitress seemed confused and never asked how the food was. She kept saying “My Love” or my dear, but she would rush to the next table. I’m used to having a waitress follow up and ask if everything is okay. She kept helping a next table who had came in after us and even took their order before ours. When it came time to pay she said she needed a machine that worked and would be right back. She then preceded to take their order before payment for the same table that came after us, and then helped another group before returning to take our payment. I tried to point it out to her that it’s offensive to tell someone you’re coming right back to take their payment and then helping two other groups of people. She was very argumentative and dismissive of my concerns and tried to justify it by telling me she was in a meeting earlier and that’s why she didn’t ask about the meal. But that wasn’t my present concern so I tried again to explain I was discussing the present issue of her saying she was returning to take our payment but then making us wait longer while she helped other tables. I was with my mom and daughter and all 3 generations are confused as to what went wrong but we will return to the pan on Artesia for sure. I’ve never had a problem there. Food is always cooked very well and tasty and staff are very attentive and friendly.
You can already tell its going to be great by the amount of people willing to stand around and wait, it was packed and multiple large groups! Very busy in the best way. We got the loaded hashbrowns with eggs over medium and limited time pumpkin pancakes! I had one bite of the pancakes and told my friend we needed to come back to try more!! Saw so many plates go by and I cant wait to return! Pancakes were fluffy and buttery, pumpkin was the perfect amount! The hashbrowns have a spicy aoili with green onions and its so well done! Crispy, savory, good bite! Literally returning at the end of this week!
What really made the experience special was her attitude—friendly, patient, and truly invested in making sure everything was perfect. You can tell she takes pride in her work and cares about the guest experience.
Service like this turns a good meal into a great one. If you’re lucky enough to have Nichollette as your server, you’re in excellent hands. We’ll definitely be asking for her again
