Overall, good flavors, but a few items could be improved.
I had mentioned while booking that it was our anniversary—not because I expected a parade or free champagne, but honestly, a single tiny candle would’ve been nice. Even after requesting one, apparently candles are rarer than fresh crab here. Not a single one for the slice of cake we ordered.
We ordered mocktails, which arrived in plastic glasses—an interesting choice for what’s supposed to be a fine-dining experience. The chili guava mocktail I ordered was less “balanced flavor” and more “sugar with a personality crisis.” I couldn’t finish it.
For our 6-year-old, we ordered shrimp popcorn, which came with two heroic orange slices on the side. That was fine.
Then came the main event:
I ordered crab by the pound, expecting something juicy, flavorful, maybe even saucy. Instead, it was dry as the desert, bland, and served with butter as its only personality trait. Not even basic salt—just vibes.
My spouse ordered surf and turf. The steak was tough, tiny, dry, and unseasoned, as if flavor had been personally offended and chose not to show up.
Service was painfully slowwwwww, and the final bill crossed $100—plus a 20% tip—for food that felt more like a cautionary tale than an anniversary dinner.
Sadly, we won’t be returning. There are far better seafood restaurants in Frisco that understand seasoning, service, and yes—even candles.
Anniversary lesson learned. ✨
The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Our server, Emerie, was incredibly sweet and attentive and truly made our experience even better. We couldn’t have asked for better service—thank you, Emerie, for helping make this birthday so memorable!
The manager was also very helpful, checking in on us throughout the meal, keeping our drinks refilled, and assisting Emerie with clearing plates since we had a large party. The teamwork was great to see.
Thank you both for such a wonderful experience!
The food was really good. I plan to bring my family with me, next time.
