I ordered to build your own burger with the Angus beef and the sweet potato waffle fries which were wonderful almost like a dessert. The burger was cooked perfectly. It was around 11:30 on a Friday when we stopped and got to sit in front of the windows had a wonderful server everything was cooked fresh from the kitchen, so it took a little while to come out, but it was well worth the wait. I would consider this to be one of my better burger places I’ve stopped at in Asheville.

I absolutely loved this place, the spot is amazing. The bison burger is a must-try, and even though I’m not a beer expert, the one I had was really good. The service was great as well. The building is very old, but that only adds to the atmosphere, it honestly felt like I was in an old American movie. A very memorable experience.

Really great food! We got the cheese curds, nachos and loaded fries. We had a great server who was very accommodating. It was pretty hot on the inside but the food definitely made up for it. They have lots of beer options too.

My son and I came to eat around 3:30 on Xmas Eve. I asked both hostesses if we could eat at the bar (my son is 17). I know legally he can in NC, because I’m also a bartender, but I know some places have different policies. They said yes, that we both could. Bartender greeted us and before even giving us a menu asked us if we could move. I said that we asked the hosts and they said it was fine. She kinda huffed and said the pm bartender is coming in and they don’t like it. I could tell she was mad so I said we can leave if you’d like, and she said yes, so we left. There was literally no one at the bar. I think she was just about to get off and didn’t want to be bothered. I get it, but it was rude. Anyway the place was empty and I tip extremely well, so their loss lol. We went to Jack of the Woods pub instead and the bartender was so nice and the food was great. I would recommend going there instead.

We got there on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, the place was not very full, but the service was very good. The server was very attentive.The food was also very good. We ordered a philly cheese steak, chicken wings, a pretzel, and all the food was amazing. I strongly recommend that if you are in town or downtown more than anything very late at night, this is a good option. They also have lots of huge screens.If you like to see sports pool tables and a large bar.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt like I needed to share this experience to help others make an informed decision. Unfortunately, the level of professionalism here fell well below expectations. The staff had a noticeably poor attitude, unlike anything I’ve experienced anywhere else in Asheville, where service is usually welcoming and attentive.
Asheville has so many great places that truly value their guests, and based on my experience, I would recommend skipping this stop and choosing one of the many better options the city has to offer

The Philly sandwich was so moist and tender. The bun was a nice dense bread with flakes of salt one of the best Philly s ive had, and the sweet potato fries were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Tasty with a slight crisp on the outside. Not limp like most.
