My wife and I dined here on a Sunday evening in March 2026. At around 5:00pm, I made a reservation for 8:30pm. The place was busy so I recommend making a reservation. We both had a glass of Cupido red wine and ordered Carciofo (Artichoke) to start. Then we ordered Risotto Funghi and Lasagne and everything was excellent. We would definitely dine here again and can highly recommend this restaurant. The service was very good, our servers name was Chiara. The total bill came to €88.00. We had no complaints about this place.

This is my second time dining here, and everything is still absolutely wonderful. My favorite dishes are the saffron risotto and the sliced truffle beef. I celebrated the New Year here with friends this time. The restaurant is near the Spanish Steps.

Really enjoyed our dinner here – we chanced upon it from a recommendation, and had the specials + grilled octopus + warm focaccia. Excellent service from Salome – attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the food & wines – highly recommended; quiet & off the main Spanish Steps square & shopping, in a nice corner

We had a wonderful dinner at Dilla. Jenny took great care of us — she was incredibly kind and guided us through the menu perfectly. We had the lasagna and the mortadella and pistachio meatballs, both absolutely delicious. To finish, we enjoyed limoncello with biscotti, which was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Everything was outstanding, and we will definitely be back.

We return to Dilla every time we’re in Rome, it’s a short walk from the Spanish Steps. The atmosphere, service, and quality of food is consistently excellent

Their classic Roman pasta dishes and their famous meatballs are all top notch, but this time I was more adventurous.

My Eggplant Croquettes were crispy and filled with a smooth eggplant and potato filling, with a touch of mint to amplify the flavor – very good (and very shareable)

My Lamb Scottadito (“finger burning”) was perfect, straight from the grill, grilled to medium rare (so the chops were pink on the bone), with a crisp outside sear. And so tender. The accompanying arugula goes well.

Wine nerds will love their selection as well.

Very much recommended.

The food was amazing and service was even better, compliments to the bar for allowing us to enjoy our own recipe cocktails. FYI you have to try the lasagna it is outrageously good. Definitely will come back on our next trip to Rome.

Very nice atmosphere. Dont miss the risotto, it is very delicious. The cacio e pepe with blu cheese was amazing. I recommend the lasagna which was of the best in Rome. Our waiter Salome was very friendly and helpful.

Ristorante Dilla was an unforgettable experience. The waiter recommended the eggplant with cheese—creamy, flavorful, and delicious. The crisp focaccia was a perfect touch. But the star was the truffle pasta—rich, aromatic, and truly the best I’ve ever had. A must-visit spot for exceptional food and warm service in Rome.

We were very lucky to find this wonderful restaurant where we enjoyed the best pasta with truffles in all of Rome and a remarkable prosecco. Special thanks to the excellent staff, Salome and Victoria, whose recommendations really helped us make our choice.
