We ate Chile Rellenos (hold the Ranchero sauce, and Queso on the side) and they were very good, we actually enjoyed them. That’s the reason for the three stars for this review. The beans and rice were “ok”, nothing to rant about. The chips/salsa were likewise “ok”, nothing to rant about. The margarita was not good, and they shouldn’t charge $6.50 for something that tasted like it came from a snowcone stand. I think $2.50 would have been a more realistic price for their “margarita”, but I’d advise to steer clear of it in any case.
Where this particular restaurant fails miserably is in it’s service. Our waitress was nice (polite, smiled) but was rarely seen. She should have come by our table at least twice as much as she did. When we were finished, we actually went inside and stood and waited another 5 minutes for someone to come out of hiding so we could pay and get out of there.

Not at all what it used to be. Years ago this was one of the best Mexican places in town and there was always a crowd on Sunday. These days the food is not as good, the prices are up and there is rarely anyone there. The building hasn’t changed a bit which isn’t a good thing since it now looks worn out and well used.
