I’ve never had food anywhere with such great green chile flavor! Can’t get over the freshness and homemade quality. Our table of 4 had chips and salsa, queso, brisket tacos, regular tacos, stacked enchiladas with red sauce, and chile rellenos. We all swapped and shared and it was all delicious! The owner, Dave was there helping us make our choices. Very caring and attentive. So happy we made the choice to eat there!

I have to say out of atleast 35 states we have had Mexican food this was hands down the best most awesome we have EVER had!!!! The chips and salsa and the smoked queso were over the top then came the food. My husband ordered a brisket burrito but ask for it to be deep fried like a chimichanga. No problem they said and he devoured it. I had the combination plate and there was nothing on this platter that wasn’t beyond wonderful. Prices are great and portions are plentiful. I so wish we were in town longer to try more on the menu. If we come through this area again this WILL BE OUR STOP!!! The owner is a really great guy. We couldn’t ask for a better place to go for good music, drinks, food and atmosphere. Thank you so much!! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!

Okay, the place looks like a dive. We almost didn’t go in because of the outside but boy are we sure glad that we did! Living in AZ we know and love Mexican food and this is one of those meals that we will remember for years to come! The fresh guacamole, the table salsa with fresh hatch chilies and the brisket tacos plate were all amazing! Service from Aleaha was great and the prices were outstanding! Thank you to Cactus Cafe for a memorable meal!

My husband got the Bambino burrito with red sauce, no rice or beans. It was huge and delicious! I ordered the brisket burrito in a bowl. It was very simple but the brisket is so good. The owner said he smokes the brisket for 19 hours!
