My family and I went here for dinner since we had not been here in a while. When you arrive you have the choice of having tableside service by going to the right side of the restaurant or ordering at the cashier and then have a seat on the left. We were not told this when we arrived and sat in the wrong section. They did not mention this to us when we arrived, so I am adding it to my review. We sat in the tableside service section and was served by Michael. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and catered to our requests. He came to our table several times to check on us and refill drinks. The food was pretty good, but the drinks needed to be replaced because they were flat. Two of us had sodas and I had a madeup lemonade used with house simple syrup. It was not as I had expected so I will not order it again. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and I would recommend.

To be honest, this was not our first choice. Our 15yo son was craving a burger, but the first place we went to was closed… so we remembered this place when we were riding the streetcar. It was about a 10min walk from our AirBnB. You enter towards the back even though the restaurant front is on St. Charles. It looked like there was a parking lot in back and some parking allowed on the streets. It is connected to a little coffee shop too… keeping that in mind for the morning!
Upon walking in, we noticed a nice atmosphere, bright, clean, and friendly staff. You can sit on the bar side or on the otherside of the restaurant. There was plenty of seating, not busy at all, but also a Monday night (around 8pm). You order at the counter and then find your seat. Self-serve soft drinks, which my boys liked the Strawberry soda and I was a fan of the mango-peach iced tea! The food came out quick, it was hot and delicious. Our dishes were, the Roast Beef Po-boy, the Big Cheezee, the Bacon Cheddar Burger (but we replaced the burger with chicken – no charge!), and I had the Shrimp Tacos. All of the platters came with their signature Garlic Fries… they were so yummy! They have a soft-serve ice cream machine (vanilla) by the drink station as well, can’t beat a free ice cream cone after your meal! My son said he thought the cone was stale… but I had to explain to him those cake cone are supposed to taste like cardboard
We are so happy we ended up here and would definitely eat there again!
Oh! And their bathrooms were very clean, that is a bonus in our books!

Really disappointed.. I ordered a shrimp and thin fried fish platter.. 2 of them and while I knew they were going to be thin I did expect to at least get some fish with the batter. The bread was too hard to even eat. I spent close to $100 on food that wasn’t even there and what was there was to hard.. the one picture that shows a line in the middle was the most fish that was on the platter.. the rest of it literally was just fried batter.. the shrimp were hard as well . They could’ve been fried a little less. I won’t make the mistake of going there again for sure

I can’t complain but…mediocre in my opinion. The toast was saturated in butter or grease. Hushpuppies were great and order and sharing on the combination plate weren’t the best I’ve had. The place was clean a long the staff was friendly. Best part of the meal was the soft-serve vice cream machine.

Wonderful people and staff that care about your food and experience. I ordered a burger from here like I usually do because the burgers are great here and it came a little messy and broken and the sauce:bun:burger:ingredient ratio was horrid I took it back and they remade the sandwich super fast and with a smile. The new burger I got was just as wonderful as the other times I have ordered from here! I will always come back to this spot for the service and food! Thank y’all so much and thank you so much to Randy who went above and beyond and even slipped me some extra fries 🙂

We ordered using Ubereats after traveling into New Orleans. The Aliigator poppers are cooked in old oil and there is no alligator meat in them. Heavy breaded. Paid for extra shrimp and didn’t get it. The crab cakes are extremely oily and cooked in old oil. There are tons of fish that suppose to be catfish not sure doesn’t taste like it. So disappointed especially when it’s your birthday. Here for work and this is disappointing. The price do not match the food quality. It would be nice to be refunded.

We visited twice during our visit. Nice family style restaurant. The first time, we tried the quick service part where you ordered, paid and they brought the food to you. The second time, we sat at the 4141 bar section to catch the live music. The restaurant was very clean, food was good (thin fried catfish was great!) , service was pretty good, though they seemed to be a bit overwhelmed when it was busier.

09AUG25 ~ My son, grandson, & I had a great family meal together. Nice off street parking to start. The inside was clean, well organized, and attractive. Our waiter, Michael, was excellent, well spoken/articulate, genuinely friendly, helpful, and professional. He always seemed to come by at just the right times. Our food was five star all around. My grandson had the kids chicken tenders and loved it. He consumed more food than he normally eats, a good testament to its quality. My son & I shared a dozen oysters, he had the ‘Any Two Platter’, fried shrimp & thin catfish, and I had the thin catfish. Both of our dinners were excellent in both quantity & quality. Thank you New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company.

Great thick catfish. The thin tastes like catfish flavored potato chips lol Always great service on St Charles. Great mngmnt and service every time on St Charles. If you’re visiting from out of town, Take the 12 Streetcar and enjoy the sights and get off at NOLA Hamburgers & Seafood.. thank me Later. They even have a PacMan Arcade Game..ijs
