Ok I may get I trouble for saying this but quite possibly one of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a while and I’m from the Bay Area! We started with Azul chicken wings which came in like 2 min so I was doubtful. It was crispy and juicy and so good! The kids got soft chicken tacos and chicken strips with rice and beans. They both loved it.
For main course we ordered the two popular dishes: Thai mango taco and carnitas green enchiladas. Omg the enchiladas were beyond delicious. Tacos were also really really good, esp. mention for tortilla but eating Thai flavors at a Mexican place kinda messes with your brain.
We also ordered a pitcher of mezcal margarita and it did not disappoint. A bit pricey for a Mexican joint but the portions are great and you pay for the location.

Finally ate here. Sat inside. Food was delicious and filling like Mexican food usually is. Only ate half the enchiladas skillet. The hot sauce they have at table is on point! Service was great! Has fire pits with seating out side and live music certain times.

I had lunch at Azul in South Lake Tahoe and ordered the chicken fajitas bowl. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. The staff was also incredibly polite and efficient, which made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in the area.

It’s been a minute since we last ate here (preoccupied with soccer-themed vacations).

We ordered Azul Guacamole, Avalanche, Bloody Mary, Kids Carnita Tacos, Enchiladas, and Fish Tacos.

It’s good to be back.

Everything on the menu looked good. I choose the 3 crispy tacos, one of each meat. Soooooo delicious! I will be back for sure. Everyone was so friendly. Great place. We ate inside but the outside was nice also with a fireplace and live music. 5 stars.

First,
Drinks: delicious drinks
Service: extremely sweet and attentive service workers – both front and back of house, and bartenders. All very sociable and welcoming when I had my dog with me and waited on my takeout order while I had a drink.

Food: Chorizo Breakfast burrito(add pico), cut in half, with a hand for size reference. Not the most flavorful or as good as in the Bay Area, but for the price ~$17 and size, it is a great value – and it is better than just “edible”.

We ordered the queso fundido, the super burrito with oven-roasted chicken, the Enchiladas Clásico skillet with salted shrimp, and a cheese quesadilla. Everything was delicious and full of flavor! The restaurant was very busy and doesn’t take reservations, but the food and lively atmosphere made the wait worthwhile.

Ate 10/31, the service was quick, the food was good; the only problem I had was the prices. They don’t give free chips and salsa like other restaurants, their chips and salsa is an appetizer for $4.75. I ordered a Moscow Mule and they charged me $12 for a shot of Tito’s and then charged me $3 “as a Moscow Mule,” same process goes for everybody else’s drinks. Definitely not worth $177 for four guests before tax.

We enjoyed our meal at Azul. We decided to take a table outside since there was live music and the weather was great. Our waiter didn’t seem to have his head in the game and overall our service seemed a bit slow. I was impressed, however, with how quickly our food came out after we ordered. The food was hot and fresh. I had the classic enchilada skillet and it was very good. Overall we had a good experience at Azul and recommend you giving it a shot if you’re hungry for Latin cuisine.

Nice atmosphere. Outdoor seating with live entertainment often. Excellent food, friendly staff. They have a cool happy hour pricing schedule called beat the clock, with gradually increasing prices as it gets closer to dinner.
