They also have a diverse kids’ menu, which we really appreciated. Our waitress was very kind and helped us choose a suitable meal for our daughter. Since she has allergies, finding the right food is often a challenge for us, so we were very grateful for the help.
We had an exceptional dining experience at Grillsmith in Wesley Chapel and it truly deserves all the praise.
From the moment we sat down, our server Zoe was outstanding. He was attentive, personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. He struck the perfect balance of being present without hovering and made sure everything about our meal was seamless from start to finish. We especially enjoyed his humorous tales and friendly disposition.
What really elevated the experience was the leadership. Manager Shane Neukam, the Managing Partner, is an absolute standout. He is professional, caring, and clearly passionate about making sure every guest has a top notch, five star dining experience. His presence and attention to detail show how deeply he cares about both his customers and the quality of the restaurant.
The food was incredible. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The seasonal menu is especially wonderful and thoughtfully curated. On Shane’s recommendation, we finished with the Pistachio Cheesecake, and it was phenomenal. Rich, perfectly balanced, and unforgettable.
This Grillsmith location in New Tampa sets the standard for excellent service, strong management, and outstanding food. Huge compliments to Zoe, Shane, and the entire team for such a memorable experience. We will absolutely be back, and highly recommend dining here.
The menu is simple, clear, and well thought out. Solid drink selection, great options for kids, and nothing feels overcomplicated. Starting with the drinks: hands down one of the best Old Fashioneds I’ve had, and my wife loved her espresso martini.
The kids crushed their chicken tenders and mac & cheese—clean plates all around. Even the complimentary bread was excellent. The shrimp appetizer didn’t last more than a few minutes; it was that good.
My wife’s chicken dish was fantastic, and that says a lot because she’s tough to impress. And do yourself a favor—order the meatloaf. Absolute bomb.
Service was on point, the place looked great, and the food clearly tasted fresh with generous portions for the price. We had a reservation and were seated within two minutes, so I strongly recommend booking ahead. Overall, an easy win and a spot we’ll definitely be back to.
The food, was perfect. The apps were tuna tartar, chicken wings . A plate of Chilean sea bass, one of pork chop marsala with veggies, topped with a home mage slice of key lime pie. Awesome! Stop in, you won’t regret.
Zoe the bartender and Tyler the bar back were awesome. Super friendly, funny and easy to talk to. They definitely made the night better.
I ordered the 16oz ribeye cooked medium with sautéed spinach and a side of jalapeño mac and cheese. The steak was flavorful and cooked well. I’ve had better ribeyes, but this one still held its own. The spinach was fine. The jalapeño mac and cheese was very good, mild kick with sharp cheese and it paired perfectly with the steak. For drinks, I went with a smoked old fashioned, liked it so much I ordered a second.
Steak was $48, jalapeño mac and cheese was a small upcharge and both old fashioneds totaled $27.
I’d definitely come back. A few things I want to try next time include the Filet Tip Egg Rolls, Port Wine Filet Mignon, Cajun Chicken Pasta, Pasta Carbonara, Grillsmith Burger, Au Gratin Potatoes, Yukon Gold Mash and the Bananas Foster Sundae.
Parking was tough on this busy Saturday night and my reservation somehow got cancelled when I arrived, but everything else made up for it.
Our server, Demi was very good, lots of smiles, took care of our table. Very happy with her hard work. Will be back. PS- Meatloaf was Super good…
The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed and includes a bar.
The food is made from 99% all scratch in the kitchen.
The menu is pretty substantial although I almost always get the filet mignon because it melts in your mouth, and the scalloped potatoes are off the chain!
The desserts are amazing! The chocolate moose pie is incredibly smooth and delicious and rich. I also love the pineapple upside down cake à la mode!
I definitely recommend this restaurant while in the Wesley Chapel area!
