Also don’t miss out on the French fries! Cooked perfectly -I order them as an appetizer sometimes. Good for book clubs and fam dinners. They also have a kids meal!
We had the pleasure of celebrating Mother’s Day brunch at Aixois French Bistro, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional—especially the French toast, eggs, and bacon, which were cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The flavors were rich and satisfying, with that perfect balance of sweet and savory.
The service was just as impressive. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Even with a busy holiday crowd, everything ran smoothly and with a smile.
The charming patio seating under the red umbrellas added to the ambiance, making it a lovely place to relax and enjoy the day.
Highly recommend for brunch or any special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!
If you were to add an ashtray to every patio table, you wouldn’t be able to tell if Aixois was in the US or France. Aixois is an immersive French dining experience and while I do understand how change can make us uncomfortable, if you aren’t willing to try something new and keep an open mind, there is probably a Cheesecake Factory or an Applebee’s not too far away.
The ambiance within the restaurant felt relaxing. Definitely set the mood for a comfortable dining experience. Our server asked where we wanted to sit which we appreciated. We were then guided to our table.
We were then greeted by Alana who is very kind and attentive. She checked in on us several times during our experience and helped us with our menu options. This service is an excellent example of top tier quality. I decided to order the Filet Mignon, Pomme Frites, and Aixois 75.
The Filet Mignon has good flavor, juicy, and tender. The pairing of the mashed potatoes and vegetable du jour were excellent and complimented this dish nicely. The Pommes Frites were good. It had a unique flavor which I wasn’t able to fully grasp, but it was good nonetheless. The Aixois 75 was sweet and had great flavor.
Overall, I am pleased with my experience. The service was spectacular and the food made the experience more enjoyable. I highly recommend everyone to come here to try out their food items.
The menu reflects a clear dedication to traditional French cuisine, with each dish prepared and presented with care. Everything we ordered was skillfully balanced and full of character, showcasing the kitchen’s respect for quality ingredients and classic technique.
Our server, Andrew, elevated the entire experience. He was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable but but pretentious, and kindly patient. His timing and manner made the meal feel effortlessly smooth, as though every detail had been considered in advance.
The wine selection deserves special mention: well-matched to the menu, and clearly chosen with both the enthusiast and the curious diner in mind. It added depth to the meal and encouraged a slower, more deliberate pace of dining.
Aixois offers more than just food; it offers a moment of quiet sophistication. I look forward to returning soon and encourage anyone in the area to make time for a visit.
Beware: There are two restaurants by the same name in the Kansas City metro area. They are both excellent and have the same management, but if you are meeting a colleague, you’ll want to be sure that you are going to the correct venue!
