I am visiting Wichita from Arizona. I was happy to discover Village Inn was still open in ICT. The restaurant was clean and the diners were enjoying themselves. All the food looked great. I usually stick with dessert. My favorite is the Triple Berry with a cup of coffee to wash it down. I was thrilled to see that VI includes everyone. Thank you for a wonderful slice of heaven. See you Wednesday night.

We arrived at 12:50 PM and were seated immediately, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, we then sat at our table until 1:15 PM without a single server acknowledging us. No greeting, no water, nothing. After waiting 25 minutes, we left. We understand restaurants get busy, but being completely overlooked is frustrating and disappointing. In today’s case, we saw two servers. They had a “we are hiring” sign out front. My guess is they just don’t have the proper amount of staff. Understandable. I just would prefer to not be sat until they had someone to serve us at that time.
Better communication and awareness from staff would go a long way.
We will be back. But heads uo to others trying them right now. Have patience.

This seemed like a pretty nice village inn here in town. Very clean and the management was actually helping instead of hiding or standing around aimlessly. Tried a cheeseburger from village inn and was very impressed.

Normally come here on the weekends have good food & good hospitality came at 6:00 a.m. for breakfast waited around for 15 minutes nobody at the counter another guy behind me left too,very disappointed at this establishment the customer can even come in and not even be served for 10 minutes that’s insane I chose to go to IHOP instead and got instant service from now on maybe I’ll start going there on the weekends

Tonight we went out for dinner at one of our favorite places. We always have good service and good food. But tonight was a big disappointment. The server was new, I have trained servers better then that. First we got our drinks and our salads arrived with the rest of our food. So by the time we ate our food it was no longer hot. Also asked us if we wanted dessert before we were done with our salad. And brought us our check right after we got our food. My man never got a refill on his tea even though he was still eating his meal. She never asked if I needed a box. The hostess spent more time in back talking to the servers then she did up front. She did however give us a 10% discount. And only said we’ll She is new and has only been here a week.

Until this afternoon, I had not frequented this all-day breakfast restaurant in many years. Clearly, I have missed out on many fabulous and tasty meals. No worries. I will be a Regular for now on! The entire breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu offered so many delicious choices, not to mention the mouth-watering available Pies Of The Day that were on display. But, I opted for breakfast in the middle of the afternoon. The kitchen staff delivered, bigly! I enjoyed the best 3 egg ham and cheese restaurant omlette I have found in years! The hash browns were crispy on the outside, just like I wanted them. The generous option of selecting a stack of pancakes rather than toast was a huge bonus. Plenty of butter and a big bottle of syrup finished off this Perfect breakfast in the afternoon. Meagan demonstrated how servers can make guests feel happy just by treating them kindly while moving quickly between tables and efficiently caring for everyone’s particular needs. She is a really good “old-school” server! I am returning soon for lunch or dinner…and, a piece of pie!!

I went here after church on Sunday and I normally go to the location at 235 and meridian and have a great meal and service, so I was expecting the same from this location. I was pretty disappointed. My burger was quite salty and the service was not great. I’ve rated three stars.

They have the world’s most delicious food here. . .the pumpkin pancakes. Limited time so get them while you can. They are to die for. Seriously the best food Ive ever eaten. Try them. You won’t be disappointed.

Can get busy, I’ve had good luck but my wife has had bad times with waitresses. The girl she had gave people the wrong receipts and thought it was alright for you to pay for 6 people when you only have two. The 6 people, being cops never corrected. I think she got fired but I really like eating breakfast here. Always clean and the foods good.
