Came here with my girlfriend yesterday (Family day) as our valentine’s day plans had fallen through because I had gotten food poisoning (Not from the ship) so we made plans to go out for the holidsy monday, although we took a risk heading down there because we weren’t sure if it was gping to be open or not. But it was!
Spent a good number of hours here having some drinks and food. Sharing some laughs and really enjoying ourselves

Food was decent, but a bit pricey. Got the “hot shot burger” and the “pickle burger”. The burger meat was a bit dry and the bun was COLD. Fries were alright. Portions were large.
Fish tacos were decent. Fish was a tad bland.
Would go again, but wouldn’t go out of my way to come back

Went here for lunch with a friend, we got the Southern Fried Catfish and the Chicken Fried Chicken with a side of fries for both. The catfish was super bland and had basically no texture…… the chicken was less bland but the only thing you can taste is the pickle brine it marinated in….. This is a really cool spot for the atmosphere but the food is definitely not worth it in my opinion, 2/10

The Ship never disappoints when it comes to burgers and beer! We dropped in recently and ordered a few of their burgers along with garlic bread and herb fries — everything was spot on! The burgers were incredibly juicy, loaded with flavour, and grilled to perfection. Special shoutout to the one with the pineapple slice in it — absolute game changer! Sweet, tangy, and savoury all in one bite.
The garlic bread was buttery and crisp, and the herb fries were addictive — seasoned just right and super fresh. And let’s not forget the beer… sexy, bold, and refreshing — it paired perfectly with the food.
The vibes were chill, the service was friendly, and the food was next-level delicious. Definitely coming back for more!

*Drools* is patio weather here yet? All I need is a hamburger in my hand while sitting in the patio at The Ship and life is good. The best hamburgers in town and the servers are always so friendly.

Very kind and attentive staff, burgers thick and juicy. Love their style of burger and all their ingredients taste really great as well. The fries are very good and plentiful. Over all great great place for food and drinks.

This was a great find! Highly recommend going to this pub. It felt super cozy and very nice. The drink was a little pricy (space boob) but definitely hits! I loved the banana split drink! Would come again!

Burgers really good and service too. Many options of burgers with great combination of flavours. Big burgers and great price. To me kind of too much salt on my sweet potato fries but anyways I guess is normal for bar style to be in the salty side. I recommend burgers.

Super chill. 5/5 easy win for everyone who comes here. The big pickle is what the waiter recommended and I just loved it. It was cooked to perfection with the flavors just melting in your mouth. Thanks for the great food and I will be coming back.

Fantastic food! Great location in a downtown Hamilton! The wife had The Catfish Poboy, it was delicious! I had the Pickle brined Chicken fried chicken and wow! What a combination, the flavour was incredible and cooked perfectly. The skin was crispy and the chicken was juicy and delicious!
Our waiter was very friendly and service was very quick. Bonus was the free PAC Man arcade game!
There is a cool little patio out back. The pub is very small and comfortable. Would definitely return!
