Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. This place is everything you want when you go out for a nice dinner. The owner and our server were both kind and engaging. We even tried the Escargot for the first time. It was really good and not at all the way I expected it to be. We also had the lasagna, chicken piccata, shrimp scampi, lobster and artichoke spread, and Ceasar salads. The wine was wonderful. Everyone was so happy and we had a great time together. I highly recommend this restaurant. We’ll be back, totally worth the drive! We can’t wait to visit again.

(I have three reviews) first is for the coffee was had in the morning. My espresso was pulled perfectly and my husbands Americano was so good, I went and got one myself after my shot of espresso. The barista was very kind and friendly. The shop is super cool too. It featured some amazing books and their decor was really neat and they had some cool local food stuffs you could buy as well as some fancy looking food.
(Second) we went for lunch and were blown away! My husband got the steak and mushroom sandwich and I got the schnitzel sandwich with a Caesar. Oh, wow!!! They were incredible!
Our server Tamara was so sweet, she made us feel incredibly welcomed.

(And thirdly) our lunch was sooo good and our server was so nice, we came back for dinner!
Tamara was working again and we got her as our server. I cannot say enough kind things about her. If you want an amazing meal and an atmosphere of homecoming, this is your place. It’s upscale without being pretentious and the people are kind without being overly friendly.
We (sadly) didn’t get pictures of our meal, but we ended up also getting the mushroom app, and two deserts. One I meant to take home, but it was so good, it didn’t make it to the car. If the peanut butter pie is there, do yourself a favor and get it. Wow!
We can’t wait to come back and eat here again!

What a delightful find! We were on a wait list for another restaurant and walked around town. We went in for the books and stayed for dinner. I had a bacon, potato, Caesar salad with beef. It was delicious! Hubby had spaghetti and meatballs – a classic. We finished with milkshakes. Yum!

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would! We drove from Spokane to here for dinner last night! When I say this was probably one of the best meals I’ve had in ages I speak the truth! I had the Pesto Tortellini I ate every single last bite. My partner had the Osso Buco and there was no leftovers on his plate either. We ordered the clams for our appetizer and again…. Just absolutely delicious. We took some desert to go (3) we had to try everything right 😉
Our server was amazing, so attentive and very nice!
Can’t wait to go back!
P.S. I hope I see my salad joke on the wall next time

Small dining area so we were sat at the bar. Small menu, watching the chefs in the open kitchen could see why service was slow! Most food seemed pre prepared and just warmed. My fettuccine was luke warm, could hardly find the chicken, ribeye requested medium was well done

Pretty good food. We like stronger flavours than is typical. The coleslaw in the chicken schnitzel had capers and jalapeños. That was nice. My muffeleta sandwich could use stronger olives. The desserts were very good and different. I liked the overall uniqueness of the cafe.

The food was good but can take a while to be served if they are busy! If you’re split between getting chicken or filet mignon steaks: I’d go with chicken with pasta! The steak is good but can taste a bit too salty.
As a heads up: They can be stingy about giving bread pieces! And there are different menus options for lunch vs. dinner time.
Their lasagna wasn’t the best as one to the last layer of the cheese was not even melted but it tasted okay and I was very hungry. I feel like for an Italian restaurant , the lasagna could have been better.
They have both inside and outside sitting! The out side view is gorgeous but if it’s during evening time, there could be lots of bugs like fungus gnats and flies which is a bit less on the side with tomatoes plants! So I’d recommend inside for evening time for more comfort unless you do not mind the bugs!

Wow! We had a terrific dinner. The decorations are a lot of fun to look at. Our server was excellent, very fast and friendly. I was told the chef has a 5 star rating, and I believe it.
