Reviews
If you look at other reviews, you’ll see constant complaints about the staff’s poor hygiene. It makes you wonder: if the service staff can’t even keep their hands clean or handle glasses properly in front of customers, what is going on in the kitchen where no one is watching?
I know some people around here like to say, “I’ve eaten here for years and I’m fine,” or “you just have a weak stomach.” That is a dangerous way to think. Just because someone has been lucky or has bad health habits doesn’t mean this place is safe. If you actually care about your kids and your loved ones, stay away. It’s not worth the risk. If you’re in a hurry and need a place to eat, go literally anywhere else.
There is one particular waitress, Cathy M., whose service I consistently seek out. If I happen to visit when she is not working, I often feel a sense of disappointment, as Cathy is uniquely aware of my preferences for how my food should be prepared. She also contributes to the cooking staff during the week. On occasions when I am not working and stop for breakfast while she is cooking, Cathy M. demonstrates such a remarkable level of skill that she can discern my presence simply from the order being placed by another waitress. Cathy M. is an exceptionally diligent employee. She is truly wonderful, incredibly amiable, and kind. She is, without a doubt, the best! My sincere commendations to you, Cathy M.
It truly was better than some of the homemade, I’ve eaten. Nicely spiced, and didn’t taste commercial.
I told our server, and she said she’d get the manager. The manager came, and she was really very nice. She tried it and agreed that it was over-seasoned. Overall excellent service. She produced for me a great-looking fresh cup of chili, yet it was unfortunately the same on the saltiness. I was not able to eat it. The salt content was just too high.
I ate from the salad bar. I ate mushrooms, chickpeas, beets, pineapple, grapes, mini muffins, and cottage cheese… I’m writing the review because the chickpeas are certainly bad. The smell coming from my own body, the nausea, and the unsettling feeling I’ve had through the night betrays them.
The kitchen-worker who came to change out the soup didn’t do that. She added soup to the pot. Did they do the same with the food in the salad bar? — Did they ever take the old food out??? You can’t keep adding good food to a container forever. The container grows mold, and it spoils everything. The grapes there had significant mold on some. (I fished out the worst of them and placed them on the inedible cup of chili.) Whoever is replacing food in the salad bar needs to be sure they remove the old food and THROW IT AWAY. To serve that means making people sick. I wish I had just watched my family eat and not ordered anything.
