I grabbed two meat & cheese tacos and a side of corn nuggets for lunch. The taco was crispy and cheesy with that iconic powdered cheese making every bite flavorful. The corn nuggets were golden and sweet, a fun contrast to the savory taco. The staff was friendly and the place had a relaxed, no frills charm. I’ll definitely be keeping this spot on my go to list.

We love In-a-Tub. My husband grew up in Kansas City and always has to make a trip to this fun restaurant when we are in the area. The food is delicious and the service is absolutely outstanding. The fried mushrooms are my favorite! Yummo!

In-A-Tub is a nostalgic place for my fiance and I had the pleasure of going here for dinner for the first time the other night. This lived up to all my expectations from him hyping it up for so long. The value for the amount of food is really great (we got a pocket burger, 5 tacos, a drink, two sides, and a shake for like $35), the powdered cheese is immaculate, and the staff is so friendly and you can tell they really enjoy working here. They have the restaurant all decked-out for Valentines Day and overall both the food and service is unmatched. I cannot wait to return!

A pretty interesting experience! Essentially a hole in the wall, counter service, known for fried tacos with this powdered cheese on top! It was tasty, but probably something you’d want when drunk or really craving something greasy. The ice cream “tornadoes” were delicious and had a great ratio of ice cream to toppings. Super cheap in general! Parking was easy. The inside was clean. Bathroom was clean too.

My goto constant if in the area..got me craving them niw but its too late to get some tacos..was going to go to Taco Bell and decided ill wait till they open tomorrow to get my fix.. friendly staff got me in and out of the drive thru within minutes..great atmosphere.. kitchen was well organized ..one of the lowest priced tacos around here that i enjoy..worth a stop

Love this place. You’re not coming here to get authentic tacos. Here you’re getting something else that is just as divine, if not better. Cheesy greasy deep fried tacos loaded with lettuce, sauce, meat, and topped with powdered cheese. I’ll take this any day over some of the fanciest meals money can buy. You just can’t beat it.

I would give 5 stars but they no longer have Apple Sticks. They were so delicious and a part of my families In A Tub experience for years. So please bring back the Apple Stocks. That’s part of what made In A Tub home. Ither than that I like the remodel, more space, different seating options and still the best Tacos in KC. We will continue to come back as In Tub has been a part of my family since it opened.
